Booked from now through April 1st 2013, our condo has proven to be a very popular place to stay, now accepting reservations for summer-fall of 2013.
This condo perfectly met all our requirements. A little over an hour from an International airport, Arenal volcano, Monte Verde and just under 2 hours from world class beaches.
Surrounded by National Parks, we get to enjoy birds sometimes by the hundreds. Toucans, parrots and others grace us with their presence.
Close enough to walk to a Tronodora for groceries or a quick beer. We have the advantage of a nearby bus stop for those without a vehicle. Secured parking for those with a vehicle, tenants have a choice of driving eight miles to Tilaran which boasts multiple supermarkets, produce shops, butcher shops, drugstores, hardware stores, English speaking private dentists and doctors.
The view is constantly changing and too beautiful for words.
Keywords: An easy commute from the airport at Liberia, only 8 miles from Tilaran on a hillside overlooking Lake Arenal with Volcan Tenorio centered above the lake. The town of Tronodora is within easy walking distance and a bus stop within sight of the front door makes this the perfect place for tenants with or without their own transportation.
Master bedroom has a king sized bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen and the 3rd bedroom has a full with an air mattress if necessary. All 3 bathrooms have a shower, but there is also a large bathtub is in the master bath.

Great experience! The condo was nice and clean. Great view of the lake, nice breezes. Woken every morning by the chatter of parrots in the trees right outside the window, and the sound of howler monkeys slightly further away. Coryn, the property manager,was always available to answer any questions, suggestions of places to go, and places to eat. If I had to say anything negative, I'd say it was the poor lighting in the master bathroom, but since I didn't do my hair, or put on makeup all week, it didn't really matter! Great time! The pizzaria just down the hill is really good!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

After the view, my favorite part of the condo would be the nice cross breezes that we get and the local places that can easily be walked to. Sorry about the master bath lighting, we had issues with the wiring and it is a bit darker than I'd wish. Hopefully we'll find a resolution for it on our next trip.

What a wonderful place to stay! Great view, clean, well-maintained, close to shopping, dining, and attractions! The property manager was immediately available and most personable. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend the condo to family and friends!Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We stayed at this condo with our 3 kids and it had lots of room for everyone. There is a beautiful view of Lake Arenal. We choose this location because it was mid way between the Arenal Volcano, Monteverde and Liberia.(over an hour to each place) However with the curvy, hilly roads we didn't make it to either of the Volcano or Monteverde. The roads are good, paved and well kept, it was that we weren't feeling that great these days so the ride was a bit too much for us. There is no pool with this condo which we missed having with the kids. Coryn who looks after the condo goes above and beyond to make sure that everything is great. She also gave us ideas of places to eat which is great when you come to a new area. If you are looking to have room to spread out, with a great price in a small quiet area this is a great choice.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

The nearby pool was recently closed to outside guests which was a shame since it was a short walk down the hill, we're hoping that the owners once more make it available.

Very spacious, wonderful views, the city is close enough to walk to. the home is fully furnished with cable, internet, and washer and dryer. It was wonderful to wake up and look at the window with my cup of coffee and see the volcano and lake view in the window. Also the condo is set up more like a family home then a hotel which made the stay more comfortable and "homey"Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a beautiful view, close enough to a local supermarket that walking was enjoyable, kitchen was spacious, and the condo was clean. It had everything I could want and so much more. Thank youRecommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway.

About: Texas natives with a love of travel, we fell in love with this place and look forward to spending our vacation there every year. A trip means long relaxing soaks in volcanic pools, friendly neighbors, hiking and scuba diving at the coast. My husband and I took all 3 of our grown children with us on our last trip and had the greatest Thanksgiving there. It was a holiday to remember.
Why Tilaran:
We choose this location due to the easy drive from the airport, the incredible views and the lower number of tourists. We find that prices are much more reasonable for groceries and we have a choice of several large stores including one within walking distance.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
At least once every visit, we go to the volcanic hot pools, at least two visits to the beach and we're trying to see as many of the National Parks as possible.
The best times are sitting with a cup of coffee and a birding guide and just enjoying the view.
