    My husband, 14-year old daughter, 2 dogs, and I spent the Thanksgiving 2012 week-end at Paradise Found. We loved every minute of it!! The house is amazingly cozy, extremely well stocked, and nicely furnished. The views are to die for. The beach is beautiful: clean and quite. We had more space than we needed! The dogs had their own private fenced yard. We also enjoyed the area: spent one day in St. Mary's County and the other day in Calvert County. The local seafood restaurant, Courtney's, was excellent. People in the area are super nice. There are tons of restaurants and places for shopping approximately 13 miles away in Lexington Park. The owner is super nice and easy to get along with. We will definitely come back!!

    We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home on the bay! Had friends come in from out-of-town (FLA) to come on the vacation. My golden retriever Jack enjoyed the bay too. We definitely recommend you select this home for your vacation! And, we'll be back! Gwen, Kensington, MD John, Alexandria, VA

    The house was just perfect for our grandchildren, my husband and me. The house was comfortable and the beds were magnificent and clean. Unfortunately, our stay at the beach became uncomfortable when we got stung by jellyfish every day. We would have liked that someone from the realty at least advise us about the jellyfish - as we jumped in the water as soon as we arrived and immediately got stung. Having known in advance, we would have been on the lookout, especially that we had a 3 year-old. On another note, we truly enjoyed crabbing and the pool table that came with the proprty. But all in all, we would definitely recommend Paradise Found to families.

    We were able to come for just a few days....but they went a long way, relaxation-wise. The place is at the end of a quiet drive, right on the beach. The indoor porch, front deck, and upstairs deck give pristine views of the bay. The views are also pretty grand from the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom. Everything is clean and nicely furnished, and the kitchen had everything we needed.The owner was promptly responsive and cheerful as we arranged the visit. We came with our three small kids, who loved it. Crabs are catchable - even by rookies like us - just a short walk away. This whole area was new to us, and we really look forward to returning and exploring further.

    We had such a great stay at Paradise Found! With our oldest daughter newly married, the next oldest getting married in June, and time passing quickly with our other two teen children we planned our last vacation as a family. We had originally intended to spend most of our vacation days in D.C., but liked the house and beach so much we all decided to skip it and just relax around the house. It was every bit as nice, in fact nicer, than the pictures showed. Beautifully and comfortably decorated, this beach house was well stocked with everything we needed. We all enjoyed the kayaks provided, and the pool table in the "Tikki Shed". We spent a lot of time on the beach hunting for pretty rocks and beach glass, flying kites and swimming. My husband and I looked forward to sinking into the ComfortAire bed each night then sleeping soundly to the sound of surf coming through the patio doors in the master bedroom .Enjoyed a meal at Courtney's Sea Food , stopped at the Pt. Lookout prison camp memorial, drove down the road to see the lighthouse at Pt. Lookout state park. We pretty much had it all to ourselves. We also took the half hour drive up to the Solomons, went through the Calvert's Marine Museum and our favorite, the Annemarie Sculpture Garden. There seemed to be some neat things to do at St. Mary's though we didn't get to it. There was a great fenced side yard for dogs, we wished we would have brought ours with us. We would seriously consider coming back and highly recommend it to friends.

    We had a wonderful stay at Paradise Found. We love to go to Scotland, MD. This was our third trip to the area in the past few years. It is so quiet and peaceful and a great place to decompress from all of the stress of Northern Virginia. Our teenager and his friends loved the Tiki Shed.

    This was my second stay at Paradise Found, and I can't wait to come back again. The water is SO close, and being the last house on the road keeps you from feeling crowded. The house is clean and feels like home, and the fenced in yard is PERFECT for my dog. The kitchen is really the best equipped I've experienced in a vacation rental. I love, love, love the outdoor shower! Can't wait to come back this spring!

    The house is lovely and accommodated a revolving set of family and friends. The house was furnished with everything that we needed, the beach was lovely and all eight of us enjoyed a relaxing week of lovely beach, movies, books and companionship and we left hoping for more weeks of the same.

    We spent an incredibly relaxing week at Paradise Found! My extended family (7 adults, one child) were looking for a place to relax, enjoy the beach and spend time together and this fit the bill! The beach is steps away and was perfect for my niece to play, for my Mom and I to relax and read and for my brother-in-law to fish! The sunroom was the perfect spot to retreat to when we wanted to get out of the sun but still see and enjoy the view, we practically lived out there the whole week. We cooked all our meals, the kitchen has everything you need. We also took advantage of the 'party shed' and grill for a little birthday celebration, it was a blast! And the location is so convenient to the D.C. metro area, it takes all the stress out of traveling to the beach. It was so hard to leave, we can't wait to go back!

    Loved this house! Friends stayed for a long weekend over the summer and what better vacation than at the bay. It is a perfect setting for some drinks, bbq and sunbathing. I even brought my dog, which was great. She loved laying in the sun as well. The house is nicely appointed with plenty of room. Several different seating areas were available for my group of friends, we could each do their own thing, watch a movie, play a board game, snooze in the sunroom.

    we loved our getaway vacation down by the bay. it was the perfect spot for our 3 little kids (6, 4 and 1) b/c it was so uncrowded and relaxing, the water was calm and there were so many places to explore with them. we went in mid-june, so the weather was lovely and not humid. there was plenty of room for my mother-in-law to go read or nap while we played and hung out on the porch. we even took the older kids out in the kayaks, which they loved! some really friendly neighbors gave us about a dozen crabs already cooked b/c they had to leave, so we had a feast on the porch overlooking the bay. we will definitely go back!

    The perfect getaway to celebrate my 40th birthday with my husband, four small kids and parents! The best thing about this adorable beach house is that it is RIGHT on the water with an amazing room right out front to enjoy the view 24 hours a day. There is plenty of room for everyone to do their 'own thing' or get together for a fun dinner or playing games. The outdoor shower and kayaking are both a must while you are there as well as great walks along the beach! Clean and well-equipped with plenty of room for sleeping, showering, cooking, eating and relaxing!
