  The property was just as it was pictured in the description. However, there was only one mirror in the bathroom--it would have been nice to have more since we were three ladies staying. The time into town or Times Square was usually closer to 45 minutes by subway so it meant that we left early in the morning and did not return until late in the evening. There were no restaurants near by other than McDonalds. For the price this place is truly a bargain for New York City. Nice comfortable beds, flat screen TVs and good space overall.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car.

  The photos don't show the cords hanging from the TVs to the plugs across the room, or the mouse in the kitchen. Also the estimate of time doesn't include walking 2 blocks to the subway or waiting for a train, so it is really 30-40 minutes to Times Square. It was clean, functional, but not certainly not luxury. The futon has a hard frame in the middle, so really only works as a narrow single. Beds in the bedroom were good.

  The apartment was exactly as advertised. We liked it a great deal; very cozy and nicely furnished. Check in was easy; the owner met us in the unit and he was very welcoming and pleasant to deal with. We were happy with the neighborhood and apartment was right next to train so we were able to get to and the middle of Manhattan very quickly and easily at any time of the day. I suggested this place to my friends travelling this Summer to New York.

  My family of 6 really enjoyed this very nice, very attractively furnished 2 bedroom. Just a very nice apartment in all the important aspects to us; nice kitchen, nice bathroom, lovely hardwood floors, super clean, fast WiFi, and just an overall appealing warm feel to staying there. The host was a pleasure to deal and made the check in/payment process very easy and enjoyable..We discovered we really liked the neighborhood as well which we did not know anything about really. As communicated it had a safe,peaceful residential feel and very close to the 1 train taking us daily into Manhattan as adverstised in about 10 minutes. When booking we looked into similar quality and size 2 bedrooms in Manhattan and we found nothing in our price range but we got this unit for under our price range. Since the only sacrifice was about 10-15 minutes to get into midtown Manhattan this is a no braner for us in the future..We definitely plan on coming back this summer..
