Unfortunately we were not lucky in our choice. Very rustic, elementary place in a good and very noisy location at Grrenwich Village, with no assistance whatsoever during the 10 days we spend in NY. Probably the owners had serious personal problems cuased by the recent Hurricane, but still we have payed in advanced what has been asked for so we should have been taken care in some other wayDid you find this review helpful? We stayed in this cute little apartment for a week and it was perfect for our needs. Great location, lots of restaurants, cafes, and groceries near by. Great access to public transit if you didn't want to walk. Although, we found it very easy to get around on foot as it was a very central location. The photos are very accurate. Kevin and Billie were wonderful to deal with and very accomodating. I would definitely recommend this apartment if you are looking for a quaint neighbourhood away from Midtown.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I have just spent 4 FUN days in this darling flat. If you can manage the stairs ( which are really nothing more than great exercise!), this is a super and well-priced getaway. The owners were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. We loved the neighborhood, and found our way around the city easily from there, both by public transit, and on foot. There is a enormous selection of great restaurants, and an excellent grocery store within a short walk. We'll return here without a doubt. C & M. This was probably our best accomodation experience we have had in New York City, and we have visited several times. Our apartment was in a great location and spacious with privacy. The king size bed was more comfortable than our bed at home. The owner,Kevin was so accomodating and a pleasure to deal with. One of his co-workers let us in the apartment and even gave us a restaurant tip that we actually took advantage of that afternoon ,and it became one of the highlights of the day if not of our whole stay. I wish we could have stayed longer ,but hope to visit again sooner and not later. Thanks again for a great accomodation experienceRecommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

I'm actually taking a few minutes to write this review before I even leave the apt. We stayed on the 4th floor. What an amazing place. If you're coming in for romance, this is your place!! I was here with my mom and it was perfect size for us. The only concern for visitors would be if you are elderly or in poor health the fourth floor walk up might be too much. However, speaking with the awesome owners, they do have avail apts on lower floors. The water pressure, phenomenal!! Billie & Kevin weren't kidding. They also made sure to be waiting outside when we arrived (late I might add). They had a parking space open for me to pull right in. They gave us awesome advice on restaurants. So if candles, music, over-sized comfy bed is what you're looking for then stop here!! I come up every December with my husband for our anniversary. I plan on making this my pied a terre here in NYC! Kevin & Billie, y'all ROCK!!!! Right down to the wine.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Large bed, full size ironing board with nice iron, umbrella, 50" LCD/DVD with loads of TV options, breakfast table and close to the 4th St train that takes you almost anywhere in the city! Two blocks and Washington Park from 5th Avenue. Checkout time was suppose to be 11am, but they let me leave at 3pm because nobody was coming in after me. Really nice guy!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
