We thoroughly enjoyed Christmas week in this home away from home. Mario and Christina were the perfect hosts, even providing the snow! This home would suit couples or a family. Hope to return sometime to experience Ste Adele and the area in the summer.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

We’ve stayed in the chalet a couple of times and always love our stay. Being right beside the bike path (P’tit Train du Nord) is great whether biking in the summer or cross-country skiing in the winter. There’s golf just down the hill and you’re only a short drive to a town with shopping and services. The view out the back of the cottage is amazingly tranquil and there’s a corner store for those little things you need just down the road. Looking forward to our next stay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

A HANDICAP BATHROOM ON THE MAIN LEVEL IS HARD TO FIND. I TOOK MY DAD OUT OF THE HOSPITAL AND WE INSTALLED HIM IN HIS FANCY MOVING BED IN THE LIVING ROOM SO HE COULD SEE THE FIREPLACE AND OUT THE WINDOWS. WE LOVED IT THERE. RIGHT NEXT TO THE HOUSE IS A STORE THAT SELLS GREAT BREAD FROM ST. SAUVEUR AND WINE AND FOOD.THE CALL THEM DEPANNERS IN QUEBEC .I STAYED UPSTAIRS IN LUXURY IN THE LARGEST BEDROOM. WE LOVED OUR TIME THERE. LOTS OF HIS OLD FRIENDS AND FAMILY CAME TO VISIT HIM.THE OWNERS LOANED ME A BICYCLE AND RIGHT CLOSE TO THE HOUSE IS A FABULOUS BIKING AND WALKING TRAIL ON THE BED OF THE OLD RAILWAY TRACKS.GOES FOREVER.YOU CAN CROSS COUNTRY SKI ON IT IN WINTER.JUST FABULOUS. A LOCAL ARTIST CAME AND PAINTED HIS FEET FOR A SHOW SHE WAS HAVING IN ST. ADELE. MY DAD LOVED BEAUTIFUL WOMEN AND SHE WAS.HE IS GONE NOW BUT I HAVE THE GREAT MEMORIES OF DAD BACK IN THE LAURENTIANS. ALL IN ALL IT WAS A VERY SPECIAL TIME.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1996
About the owner: I love this area. My great-grandparents settled here 100 years ago,and were builders of this amazing 'playground' that now accommodates travellers from around the world. I am able to ski, skate, swim, hike, bike and much more just from my door! I am fortunate to work and to have raised my family in such a fabulous place!
Why the Owner Chose Ste-Adele:
Only a few minutes from a town yet in a quiet location that gives you access to the 'P'Tit Train du Nord' /Linear Park. Easy access from the autoroute allows daily visits to everything in downtown Montreal or the Resort of Mont Tremblant. A very conveniant location.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Just head out the door for an evening walk on the park! A morning ski on freshly fallen snow! A bike ride to the next village for an ice cream! A sauna and quick dip in the river followed by relaxation. We will gladly help you discover this wonderful area that we have called'HOME'.
