  We had a great time. The cabin was very comfortable with a large living room and fireplace. Large deck and BBQ area. Plenty of room in the kitchen and eating area. 1 bedroom had a queen bed with its own full bathroom. The other bedroom had a futon sofa with bunk beds. 2nd 3/4 bathroom is in the hall. TV had Hulu and DVD player which was great when the kids were tired out. We were not able to get a stable internet signal via Wifi. We would definitely come back again. Even though Helen was out of the country she was still able to communicate and address our concerns. Thanks!

  We had a wonderful relaxing weekend at this great cabin! Very close to Lake Gregory and a short drive to all other mountain areas like Lake Arrowhead, Big Bear and Green Valley Lake. The owner is so easy to work with and on top of any questions, this was our first experience and she understood and worked with us to get everything together. The cabin was very clean and had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. There is a large fireplace to keep you warm on the cold nights in winter. We are definitely going to make a reservation for another stay here.

  We had a great time in this cabin. It was very nice, confortable and clean, good location. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, spacious living room and a very well equipped kitchen.It was easy to feel at home. Helen was really nice and very helpful with the booking. I also liked that there are no hidden costs, extra fees. You just pay the upfront price.Thank you, thank you. We will stay here again.

  Best cabin experience ever!! Besides being snowed in on the new year we still had a blast! Helen was on top of our situation and gave us prompt attention and a reference in case we needed any help with our little snow dilemma she's great! Cabin is perfect with all the amenities you might need and then some, hope to visit back very soon. thank you.

  This cabin is very clean. Has great fireplace and central heat. Plenty of hot water, we had 8 people so showers were short. Nice open space. Lots of trees and clean air. Lake and store very close. Nice bright natural light, big windows. Landlord is a very nice and helpful person. Great place to relax

  Had a great time. The cabin was neat and clean and had everything you could possibly need. Helen was always availble for any questions I had. Great location as well. Definately plan on going back in the summer.

  The owner was very friendly and welcoming and answered all questions quickly!!The drive to the cabin was beautiful! As we arrived we fell in love with the wrap around porch. As soon as you walk in it feels very welcoming! clean spacious kitchen area and living room. As described you can fit 8-10 people comfortably. Lake Gregory is less then a mile away and the stores and restaurants are at a hands reach! Don't forget your firewood and coffee so that you can enjoy it in the mornings while the birds are chirping! We will definitley be staying here again!

  We would like to thank you for renting out your cabin to us. We had a wonderful time!! The place was clean and cozy, the area was nice for walks and we had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We brought some dvd's to watch as a family and also used Netflix and the wifi. Not all cabins offer wifi and this was a big plus! We will definately be returning guests in the future and highly recommend this cabin to our family and friends : ))

  My dad came out for vacation from New Zealand and needed a vacation rental for a couple weeks. I searched and searched and found this place, definitely the best deal on the mountain! Not is it completely affordable, the house itself is beautiful. Close to town, great parking, house is pristine. We all enjoyed this mountain home and can't wait to come back! Thank you Helen for your hospitality and all your help! :)

  This is a great place to get away for the weekend (or the week:)). The cabin is lovely, the surrounding is very peaceful. During the summer time, Lake Gregory is the perfect place to be, there are peddle boats, water tricycles and row boats, lots of fun for our family! I look forward to return during the winter month to enjoy the snow up there!

  Our time spent at the Secluded Forest Cabin in Crestline couldn't have been better! The owner has thought about everything that a guest would need to be very comfortable. We walked around Lake Gregory a couple of times during our 3 day visit, and spent much of our time just enjoying the peace and serenity of the forest area. Thanks again to the owner for supplying all that we needed.

  THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME. TRULY A HOME AWAY FROM HOME. I FELT LIKE I WAS STAYING AT A RELATIVES PLACE. THE OWNERS WERE SUPER NICE AND THE PLACE HAD HELPFUL NOTES AS TO WHERE TO FIND SWITCHES, INTERNET PASSWORDS ETC. VERY CLOSE TO THE LAKE. I WISH I COULD HAVE STAYED FOREVER. GREAT VALUE. I'M DEFINITELY RETURNING.

  First time visit to Crestline. I loved it! Total mountain experience, ie windy road up the mountain, pitch dark at night, forestry! I definitely hope to come back again in the fall! Only thing I would advise is, stick to owner's directions to cabin...GPS takes you all over the place! Yeah, you'll get there with GPS, but you'll see that owner's directions are much easier and simpler! Great place to get away.

  I apologize for not writing a review sooner, but better late than never. My Fiance and I rented this beautiful cabin in August for a mountain getaway with the kids. From the start, we had an awesome experience. Helen was quick in responding to our inquiry and everything was smooth as can be. The cabin was more than we expected, it has a cozy feel to it, its almost felt like we were at home. The cabin is very close to the lake, where we spent a day. The Kids loved their first cabin experience, and are always asking to go again, I definitely recommend this amazing cabin to anyone who is looking for a nice, cozy, spacious place to stay in the mountains that's very affordable. We will definitely be back, hopefully when there is snow. Thank you again Helen for being such a wonderful owner, and allowing us to vacation in your cozy cabin.

  WE ENJOYED OUR STAY THE CABIN WAS BEAUTIFUL AND THE OWNER WAS HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY!! IT WAS EASY TO DO EVERYTHING ONLINE AND NOT HAVING TO DEAL WITH KEYS AND A RENTAL COMPANY WAS GREAT! THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP WE WILL DEFINETLY BE USING THIS AGAIN.

  My husband and I and another couple had a WONDERFUL weekend at this house! It IS a house, but has the FEEL of a cabin - all wood interiors, wrap-around porch, etc. Lake Gregory is a VERY short drive away, and is a lot of fun. The town is really cute too! This house had everything we needed to have fun AND relax! We can't wait to go back! The owners are extremely nice and accommodating too. Definitely a repeat visit is in order! -Robyn Wolfsberger
