  We stayed in this beautiful house for three nights and did not want to leave. The house is modern, spacious, bright and very tastefully decorated. The furniture was very comfortable and sleeping quality was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked and the dining table was big enough to accommodate our large group. We got very lucky with the weather, and we used every opportunity to spend time outside. However, coming back to this lovely house was equally enjoyable. Fishing, hiking, biking, jogging – we did it all. The views of the mountains were just magnificent. There is so much to do in the area in every season. The owners are very responsive and pleasant to work with. Thanks a lot for the wonderful stay! We can not wait to go back again.

  My husband and I drove from Florida to rent Absolute Retreat for one week for a family get together. With 10 people (including children ages 5, 8. 13, 16) staying overnight for the weekend, there was plenty of room for everyone and all enjoyed the game room and especially the ping pong table in the garage. The house was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The owner or manager always responded to my e-mails or phone calls in a timely manner and my security deposit was returned promptly. Even though there was a large flat screen tv in the main LR and one in the lower level game room, I would recommend the addition of a small TV in the Master BR and/or larger and brighter lamps for reading in the MBR for the host. The new water park (with separate daily fee) at Massanutten was a big hit with the kids. No matter what the seaon, there is always lots to do at Massanutten Resort. This rental has my recommendation.

  The house was just like the photos and very clean. We enjoyed the snow activities at Massanutten and the house has enough activities with the pool table, ping pong and Foos Ball to keep everyone entertained while preparing meals and getting ready for the next activity. We had plenty of space for everyone and it was so relaxing to just sit and enjoy the wooded backyard while sipping a cup of tea in the dining room. Would recommend this house for a great vacation get away. Wonderful experierence for everyone, can't wait for next year!

  The experience was absolutely wonderful. My family and friends stayed at the house during the weekend of Jan. 13-15, 2012. I would go back in a heartbeat. I was very pleased with every aspect of my stay! The unit was clean and comfortable. Every appliance worked flawlessly. The house was right on the Massanutten property with no more than a 2 to 4 min drive to the slopes and other attractions. Kids and adults enjoyed great skiing and relaxing. Kids had a great time at the water park that located very close to the resort area. It was nice to have the garage to keep our ski equipment and wet clothes so we did not have to unload inside the house. The kitchen was well equipped and there were lots of games for the kids and adults. We played a lot of Foosball, Billiard and Table Tennis. The rooms were very clean and beds were so comfortable. Everyone agreed that it was a beautiful home and well worth the money. The home is perfect for a family or group of friends wanting to get away. The owners were incredibly responsive & most helpful throughout the booking and our stay. I would highly recommend this place.

  Very nice house. Nice flat screen TVs up and down stairs. Plenty of space, great for a family outing.

  I stayed at the Absolute Retreat with my family two weeks ago, and I could not have had a better experience. I felt immediately at home. It’s furnished so well that I always felt comfortable, and the house has plenty of space for a big group. It also had everything we needed, including cooking utensils and appliances. Everyone in my family was constantly entertained and loved playing pool, ping pong, and foosball. It is also perfectly located a few minutes away from the slopes, so I could come back for breaks in between skiing all day. I would highly recommend staying here and will come back soon!
