Volcano vista rentals - AN ENCHANTED ADVENTURE
Antigua, Guatemala’s narrow, cobblestone streets, tree-shaded parks, historical monuments and colonial architecture attract and enchant visitors from the world over. This World Heritage site was Guatemala’s capital until a 1773 earthquake damaged or destroyed many of its buildings, especially the Baroque style churches. Restorations and a rigorous commitment to maintain the city’s heritage have contributed to making Antigua one of Central America’s top tourist destinations. Set amid three magnificent volcanoes - Agua, Fuego and Acatenango – and with a perfect eternal springtime climate year round, Antigua is a beautiful base from which to tour Guatemala, study Spanish at one of the town’s many schools, or escape a Northern winter. Antigua is especially beautiful during Holy Week, which is celebrated with medieval pageantry that includes solemn processions and streets carpeted with elaborate floral and colored sawdust designs.
These attractive two-bedroom and three-bedroom garden town homes are the ideal place to stay in central Antigua, located on a quiet cul de sac within walking distance of everything. Each comfortable, fully furnished town home sleeps four and has off-street parking.
