Year Purchased: 1991
About the owner: We chose this home because of its lovely view and proximity to Moran State Park. We are ardent walkers and love to explore the trails in the park and around the lakes. We also love to swim in the lagoon, though an official swim beach is also in the Park.
Why the Owner Chose Eastsound:
We enjoy lying on the deck in the sun reading. As the sun goes down, we soak in the spectacular sunsets and inside deeply appreciate how perfectly equipped the kitchen is. It's great to prepare meals and entertain in the attached dining room.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our grandchildren and children of guests enjoy the basketball court not only for its designated purpose but for roller-skating, skateboarding, wheeling doll carriages and all kinds of inventive fun. We also love this community as it offers wonderful pottery studios, galleries, and world-class music and theater productions at Orcas Center.
