If you are the more active sort you can improve your short game on the nine hole chip and put course, play shuffleboard, horse shoes or tennis all within seconds of your front door and all free. Then it's time to enjoy a seafood dinner at the Louisiana Lagniappe located on SPC property! This one bedroom/1bath + convertible sofa is fully furnished and perfect for a small family or two couples. The unit has its own washer/dryer and gas grill on the balcony along with all the other amenities needed for your perfect getaway. Just pack your swimsuit and that book you've been dying to read and enjoy! Will stay here again!
As another reviewer stated, our stay in this unit at SPC was more like staying at a friend's place, rather than at a rental. The owners were on site during part of our stay, and offered to help us out with our boat, restaurant suggestions, you name it. The bed and furniture are very comfortable and cozy. Everything we needed was provided. (Remember to bring extra bathroom tissue, paper towels and garbage bags, though.) Overall, we feel as though the owners are our friends, now. We won't hesitate to stay here again!

This was the family's first trip to Destin. The condo and property description were spot on and in an ideal location. The unit is an older one bed room, but nicely updated and decorated. This place was really clean and the furnishings were new. The back deck was spacious and added a nice place to hang out in the evenings . The owners were really helpful, it was our first time using Home Away and they made the process easy. Overall, it felt like we were staying at a friend's place rather than a rental. The location was awesome. The beach at Sandpiper Cove is perfect- and not overly crowded. They had umbrella and chair service that was reasonable, as well as a place right on the beach to grab lunch or a snow cone. Try the fish sandwich. Sandpiper Cove is right at the end of the harbor, which is very near many of the main attractions in town. We fished two days and had our catch cooked at Fisherman's Warf and AJ's each night, both were good, AJ's was the best. The firework show over the harbor on Thursday night is worth the effort. Destin was really nice. Great beach and very clear water. Good places to eat and plenty of things to do. It was, however, the busiest place we have ever vacationed. Plan ahead if you need to get around town in the evenings.

About the owner: My wife and I love visiting SPC. Our favorite things are getting the fish sandwich at the beachside grill, playing a round of golf in the afternoon, soaking in the hot tub on the cooler evenings, enjoying the sunset from our deck with a glass of wine, but most of all……sitting under the umbrella at the beach and letting all the stress of real life just melt away. It's the only place we can truly relax. Our hope is that you can have a lovely and relaxing vacation here too.
Why the Owner Chose Sandpiper Cove:
We bought our condo because SPC has 1100 feet of beach front; a canal where we park our boat; golf; horse shoes; shuffleboard; tennis; restaurant; and friendly people who are as happy to be at the beach as you are.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We are so close to many of our favorite places if we choose to leave the property. We love Helen Back pizza and Pepitos located near the property.
