Charming, delightful, restful, private - all describe the stone and cedar-sided cottage on a 100 acre estate. Situated approximately in the center of the estate, there are great views to the lake, and also across a beautiful six acre mowed meadow. Your own private gravel drive winds alongside the five acre private lake, where you can fish, swim, or enjoy a rowboat or paddleboat. A stream which feeds the lake flows on two sides of the cottage. Across the stream are trails to hike and explore. Around the lake are benches to enjoy a good book or the sunsets.
The country cottage is two story, but both floors are ground level! There is easy access to enjoy the outdoors through sliding glass doors on either level. Level one has a full kitchen with bistro table for two; perfect for morning coffee or menu planning. The dining area has table for six and a living room, with windows, and a wall of rough hewn cedar to complement the wide plank wood floor. Living room, and kitchen look out to the stream across the private driveway. The second level is accessed by an open staircase and has a bedroom on either end of the cottage with a shared hall bathroom. There is a sitting alcove just inside the upstairs sliding door leading to a fantastic 12 foot by 27 foot covered porch. Mornings and evenings are terrific times to be on the porch, and enjoy the meadow before you.
