The Bear's Den is a luxurious cottage available for weekend, weekly, (until 1 November 2009) then it will become available as a monthly rental located in the Rocky Mountains just four miles from the quaint town of Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

This one bedroom, three quarter bath cottage is situated on over five wonderfully private acres of wildlife, woods and stream. It is an ideal spot for the two of you! We accept well behaved pets along with well behaved pet owners!

Come and enjoy the fresh mountain air, privacy, and wildlife, with all the comforts of civilization, including high-speed WiFi internet access!

  • We know that Yvonne didn't cause the fall colors to come out while we were at the Bear's Den but she did everything else--make it a home away from home complete with garden, barbaque, Internet, cable, and touring suggestions.   • From the moment we arrived, Michael has us laughing. Yvonne has all the inof on where to go, what to do, where to eat. We did all kinds of fun things, ate great food and enjoyed our afternoon thundershowers. The place is very comfortable, cozy and homelike. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

  • My mom, my aunt and I spent 5 days at the Bear's Den and absolutely loved it! The "Den" is wonderfully decorated in traditional Bear taste. The owners are magnificent people who made us feel completely at home. We felt like we were visiting old friends. We loved the location of the cabin, not too close to the hussle and bussle but yet not so far out that we would have to pack a lunch before reaching civilization. The grounds around the house are so peaceful and relaxing. We loved sitting on the patio and watching the wildlife. The Bear's Den was the highlight of our Colorado vacation. WE WILL BE BACK!!!!

  • We just spent four wonderfully relaxing days at The Bear's Den. The house was perfect for us, not to far out of town, but far away enough to escape the maddening crowds. Yvonne and Michael are great hosts, who make you feel right at home. We have made many sojurns to Glenwood and have stayed at many of the popular hotels, but staying at The Bear's Den was like having a home away from home.

  • The Bear's Den is a beautiful cottage decorated in the southwest style. The owners, Yvonne and Michael live nearby and are extremely warm and friendly hosts. They greeted us when we arrived and wanted to make sure that we were satisfied with our accomodations and that we had everything that we needed. The cottage is immaculately clean and comfortable due to Yvonne's personal touch and dedication to cleanliness. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Bear's Den and hope to stay there longer in the future. Jeannie & Bill
