  We had an excellent stay at this home. Our group was 2 grandparents, two adult children with their children and two teen-age boys. The four bedroom and two bathroom arrangement, on one floor, worked well for our group. The living room and breakfast bar area were a great place for people to congregate as different ages retired or arose. Amazing dock out to the deep water behind Folly Island where we experienced dolphins several times! Coffee in the morning or cocktails in the evening on the deck offered tranquil surroundings. House was well equipped enough to walk in with groceries and make and serve breakfasts, lunches and grilled dinners. We walked to the beach (yes, two blocks) and walked to the central Folly Beach business area. The property description and photographs accurately describe the house – no surprises. The owner was easy to work with, honest and forthright. We had some unexpected maintenance issues during our stay (as anyone might in their own home) that the owner was right on top of. I bring that up as a positive, that if issues arise, the owner is responsive. I would certainly recommend this property to any friend or relative. It was like staying at a friend or relative’s home! Folly Beach is one of the few places I’ve been that I have on my MUST revisit list. And I would stay at this home again.

  We had a great experience. The kitchen was well stocked, could use a knife sharpner. The boat dock was filled with bird droppings and sinking. You would not be able to dock a boat! Would have liked to check out later for a winter stay. 10:00 am sharp and the cleaners were waiting in driveway at 9:30. We enjoyed and would stay again!

  The house was roomy and spacious, exactly what we needed for Thanksgiving get together. House is very private, nice dock and a lot of parking space for a boat. Only a short walk to beach. Close to everything! We took our boat, saw the dolphins, crabbed and fished from dock. We will definetly rent again.

  We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. This home had practically everything you could want. It is secluded and the view is spectacular. It is very clean, and the owner is very nice, prompt, and informative. I would definitely like to stay here again.

  This house was the fabulous fit for our family group of 6 adults and a toddler. We were in town for my son's wedding. We had several events to attend and plan; the peaceful dock view was the perfect beginning and ending to our hectic days. The beds were comfy, towels were plush, the kitchen is spacious and well appointed (maybe a square or rectangular griddle for pancakes!) The most unbelievable part is what a bargain the rental price is this time of year! Be aware the private drive is a bit tricky to find; though marked with the street number, it is not paved and looks like a dead end track from the road. Treasure at the end, though! Also, although it's just a few miles from downtown, it takes a good 30 minutes to get there, so plan ahead.

  The photos do not do this property justice. Beautiful place to be. My family liked the the river side of the house better than the beach side. House was very clean. The owner was very helpful. we would stay at this location again.

  We rented this house on Folly Beach to accomodate out of town family for our daughter's wedding at Magnolia Plantation. The house was perfect - great location, spacious and clean. We were only about 3 short blocks away from the beach. The house included all amenities and the washer / dryer came in handy. We really enjoyed the back deck - perfect for watching the sunsets, and the back dock - great for fishing and sunbathing. The property was conveniently located to downtown Folly Beach and is only about 10-12 miles to downtown Charleston. We could not have asked for more.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Folly Beach and this house was the biggest contributing factor. We have done rentals in the area before and found this house to be, by far, the most comfortable and homey. The location and lot are amazing, to have the river on the back of the house and truly a 2 block walk to the beach was incredible. Highly recommended!

  We couldn't have asked for a better location! The property is very secluded, but still close to all the happenings in Folly Beach. You can see dolphins swim by the dock and the beach is only a short walk. House is very cheerful, has lots of space, and great views! Owners are more than fantastic to deal with! Folly Beach is the perfect place to stay when vacationing in the Charleston area. You get the relaxing beach atmosphere, and downtown Charleston is only a 15 minute drive. We had a great time staying here and can't wait to come back!
