Laurel Creek Retreat is secluded and overlooking a beautiful little creek while remaining convenient to the area attractions. Two homes are included -- the larger main house with all the trimmings and the smaller, simpler cottage offer a combination of group interaction along with a chance to spread out.
Being located about four miles from the New River Gorge Bridge makes access to rafting, biking, hiking, climbing, horseback riding, zip-lines, fishing, swimming, dining, and shopping a breeze.
Decks and a patio offer views of the creek and surrounding woods while keeping you just steps away from all the conveniences of home. Relax in the private hot tub and have a cookout on the gas grill. Walk inside the main house to enjoy a full kitchen, great room, and dining room in an open floor plan. Relax and entertain with a flat screen TV, satellite reception including sports channels, DVD, stereo, and wireless Internet.
The main house has a somewhat flexible floor plan. There are three permanent bedrooms plus a den which can be a bedroom plus a loft for a total of five bedrooms. A sixth bedroom is in the separate cottage.
Walk across the yard to the cottage for it's large deck along with living room (with full size pool table), bedroom, bathroom, and a smaller but full 2nd kitchen. (TV there too.)
Bedroom and bathroom details:
Bedroom #1 has a Queen, private access to a bathroom with a shower, no tub.
Bedroom #2 has a Queen, private access to a bathroom with a shower, no tub.
Den has a double futon, and this is a quality futon, by the way, with private / shared access to the master bath.
Master bedroom has a King. You have to walk through the Den to get to the master bath or walk the length of the house to get to the main bath.
The loft has a Queen. You have to walk down a staircase to access the main bath.
The cottage is a separate building containing a bedroom with a bunk bed and a Queen, plus a day bed in a separate room. The bath in the cottage is shared.

Breath taking !!
Breath taking !!
There is no other words to describe this place....It is absolutely beautiful. Our family stayed the week before Easter. Everyone loved it and wants to come back when the weather is warmer. The grandchildren want to play in the creek . My husband and I loved watching it. It was so relaxing. The home has everything you could possiblely want or need. The decor was exquisite. Everything was so clean and nicely laid out. The cottage was the " man cave " for the week. They loved it !! Thank you so much for a very memorable week . Many memories were made. Thank you. Greatly Exceeded Expectations!

A group of friends and I stayed at the Laurel Creek Retreat and could not have enjoyed it more. All together there were 10 of us. I believe this place could easily sleep 15 or more without issue. Overall I was extremely impressed with every last detail of the cabin. Everything was in incredible condition (it is brand new after all), and all of the comforts of home we included. For instance, the kitchen was fully-stocked with utensils, pots, pans, etc. There was an abundance of fresh towels and linens. They even provided toothbrushes and toothpaste in the event that you forgot to bring your own. The owners clearly take great pride in this property. Upon our arrival we noticed a very nice hot tub, grill, and patio area. Beyond that there was a volleyball court (in the yard), corn hole boards (set up at the appropriate distance and marked with paint), and a large fire pit (with plenty of firewood). We were able to jump right in to having fun... It took no planning on our part. Once inside we noticed how new (and nice) everything was. All appliances are top-of-the-line. All cabinets and countertops are high quality. Each room has a private bathroom (with exception of the loft). And lastly, the view from the master suite is unreal. You get a continuous view of the creek across two walls of windows. The owners and management staff were a pleasure to work with as well. I was able to reach them on the phone every time I called, and was left feeling that they truly care about the experience of their guests. I would, without a doubt, stay here again! The cost (per night) is extremely reasonable, the staff is courteous, and the cabin is incredible!
