  We were very pleased with this condo. It is the perfect location with easy access to both the slopes and main street. It is on the first floor and has an elevator to the garage and ramp to outside which was great for us since we had a stroller with us most of the time. We rented our skis at Charter Sports which is very close to the condo and a great place to stop and pickup/drop off your skis and boots each day. The condo is recently renovated and has everything you might need including a pack and play and high chair for little ones. The master closet is huge and made the perfect nursery for our one year old. There is a large deck which the kids really enjoyed on a warm day. Bill was wonderful and willing to help us with anything we needed. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

  Great place to stay in Breckenridge. It is centrally located to skiing and Main St. All within walking distance. You can cook your own meals with the fully furnished kitchen and outdoor grill. We had a housefull with 2 grandkids with my son and our daughter in law along with my wife and I - but were never crowded. There is lots of room for everyone.

  Our 30 day stay at Alpine Paradise at Mountainwood was very good. The listing description and photos were refreshining accurate. The kitchen was very well stocked making cooking in very easy. The location was excellent and very convenient. The owners were very service oriented and concerned for our comfort and the cleanliness of the unit. We will certainly recommend it to family and friends. Our five year old granddaughter really enjoyed the Fun Park and The Country Boy Mine. She is still talking about them.

  Owner response: Carol was a little nervous about renting from a stranger and we did our best with both pictures and reviews to make her comfortable.   My family of five (three children under 10) had a wonderful first vacation in Breckenridge. The Handley condo is just a short walk to the Silverlift where our children were in Ski School. We hardly used the rental car; almost everything we did was in walking distance: mountain, rental shop, groceries, shopping, restaurants,spa and ice skating. The Handleys sent us maps, instructions, directions, etc were all easyto follow and very helpful. We will definatley come back again and again. The Boren Family- St. Louis, MO

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Handley’s Mountainwood condo. Conveniently located near the slopes and the town, the condo is very well maintained and stocked with spices, movies, humidifier and all the comforts of home. The owner was readily available to answer questions and ensure every part of our trip, from purchasing ski lift tickets, acclimation, to where to tune and store our skis was addressed. We will definitely rent from the Handley’s again.

  Our stay at Alpine Paradise was fabulous. You couldn't ask for a better location, near shops, restaurants, and the lift. The condo was nice and spacious, appeared recently renovated, and had everything you could need during your stay - it truly felt like you were in a friend's home. The underground parking is a huge plus. We hope to return next year!

  We enjoy being so close to the mountain, easy walk around town, yet after a long day of skiing everyone felt they could relax by the fireplace and rest/eat at home. The kitchen has all the culinary essentials. Owner strives to keep it clean and secure. There is not a washer/dryer in the unit (bring lots of quarters). The bathrooms and bedrooms were well maintained. We have stayed here twice and have no interest in looking elsewhere when we want to ski Breckenridge..

  What a great experience! We were excited to be so close to the slopes and anxious to see the condo, let's just say we've been in some interesting ones over the years. We were blown away, the kitchen, bathrooms, closets, layout, etc... were exceptional. This has been the best rental experience for us yet (and we rent 2-3 times a year in breck/vail). The first floor access is fantastic, the check in process so much easier than traditional Property Management company situations. We are already looking for our return dates to Mountainwood.

  Stayed in this beautifully decorated unit for four nights. The unit is well equipped, clean and the beds are very comfortable. The contact with the owners was very efficient and responded to my questions promptly. The check in into the unit was quick.

  Alpine Paradise is a beautiful place. Luxury and Location describes it best. We had stayed there a couple of years ago and could not believe the upgrades that Bill & Kathy did. New kitchen, granite, bathrooms, carpeting. It was all there. We love the short easy walk to the Quicksilver lift and the short walk to a dozen restaurants in town. We hope to go back again the next season.
