Our stay at Tucan Cottage was great. Judith and Richard were able to accommodate our last minute stay in a moments notice. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed for our 2 day stay! I would not hesitate recommending this cottage to anybody. Rated a 10/10 in our book! Thanks for your wonderful hospitality. Hope to see you next year, Zach KeithRecommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We want to thank our wonderful host Judith & Richard. Your cottage is just great and the pictures tell all. You should be very proud of yourself for the remodel of the cottage. We had such a lovely 10 day stay, we didn't want to leave. You reccomended so many places to see. I think we took most of them in. We put a lot of miles on the truck. The colors of the trees were spectaclar. Looks like we picked the right time to visit. The weather could of not been any nicer during our stay. The wild life around the cottage was so much fun to watch. I really loved having the deer eat right out of my hand.( I thought she was going to come join us on the deck for the cookout) We had good times with the ATV and didn't have to go far from the cottage for a beautiful ride. Played some golf at a few of the nice courses near by. At the end of our busy day, we came back to the cottage and relaxed. We slepted like babies in the most comfortable bed ever. We really enjoyed stopping at the local winery, where Richard was performing. He has such a lovely voice. Again, thanks for the wonderful stay. We have already told many friends about booking. Hope to see you next year.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.
Owner response: All seasons are beautiful here and each has a special feature to offer. We can never impart enough of our enthusiasm about the lovely area, the animals, the weather......You are welcome to do as much or as little as you desire. It's the choice of our guests; we offer information and suggest things we think you'll be pleased about. Thank you and please come back!

Beutiful retreat off the beat'en path! Lots of wildlife from bear to humming birds. Quite, we caught several nice trout nearby lakes and streams, finished a couple of books, and enjoyed sleeping in the cool mountain air, 50-60 degrees at night, days were generally in the 70's. We've already planned for next year's visit.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
Owner response: It makes us so happy to hear how much The Tucan and its surroundings have meant to our guests. We want it to be as special a place for you as it is to us. "Tucantu" misses you too! The fact that our guests are planning re-visits is such a compliment to us. Fall is in the air now. October is also beautiful in a different way because of the Aspens 'changing colors' throughout the valley. Thank you and come back soon. Judith and Richard

We loved staying here at Tucan! Our daytime routine of exploring the Rockies and surrounding area was made complete by coming "home" to our retreat in the mountains. we had everything we needed, sleeping was so relaxing with the fresh mountain air and our hosts, made sure we had everything at hand. Everything was so clean and well maintained, all the photos came to life for us beautifully! The towns of Bailey and Conifer are so close for picking up groceries or going out for a bite and shopping. There is so much exploring to do...and the sight of birds, deer and fox was a real treat for us. We would come back tomorrow without hesitation!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING !!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
Owner response: THANK YOU! Our cottage is our Labor of Love and its so pleasing to us for you to have loved it too. Our visitors become our friends and we love to have family and friends visit often. Note the new pictures in our photos section of Tucantoo and the new babies that visit us daily now. We just loved following your vacation blog and are amazed at the over 3000 miles you traveled on motorcycles to come visit Colorado and stay with us. PLEASE COME BACK SOON!
