This stunning top floor unit has been newly renovated from top to bottom. It features breathtaking views just a two minute walk to the soft white sand beaches of Santa Rosa that are 'family perfect”, clean, quiet and uncrowded. The Gulf of Mexico is warm and welcoming and is Florida's version of the Caribbean Sea.
Owner rewards available to guests include reserved cloth beach chairs and umbrella, 5 bar wireless internet service and a bonus restaurant discount certificate (for weekly rentals only).
The newly appointed kitchen includes all new stainless steel appliances such as ultra quiet dishwasher, double convection oven w/ 5 burner stove, French door refrigerator w/ water & ice, granite counters, new cabinetry, counter top appliances and new flooring throughout. The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking any meal an enjoyable and easy experience. The gorgeous breakfast bar area has two counter height stools for dining and the Tommy Bahama style dining table will accommodate 4 guests comfortably. After a fun day on the beach head back to the condo’s private balcony and grab your favorite beverage to enjoy the view and awesome sunset from this forth floor unit. Later, turn on one of the two flat screen TV's (with cable service) to watch a movie using the DVD/VCR player located in living room. For your convenience a washer and dryer is featured in our unit.
Resort Features: The Gulf Place complex includes four casual dining restaurants; Miss Lucille's, The Smiling Fish Cafe, Amore Pizzeria and Fire Restaurant where you can dine in or outside. There is also a pharmacy, bank, boutiques, bike rental shop and a variety of arts and crafts huts in the square. For activities we have three heated pools, tennis court, shuffle board, walking and biking trails. There is also a huge amphitheatre where there are concerts, and a large grassy for the kids to run and play. Discounts are available for Santa Rosa Beach Golf Club, and other beautiful courses are close by. Excellent fishing charter services and shopping at the Silver Sands Outlet Mall is available a short distance away. There are also plenty of nature, water, and amusement parks in the general area for your enjoyment.
We recommend reserving early as Casa Del Mar condo is unmatched in Gulf Place Caribbean and reservations are filling up quickly. If we are not available, we will be happy to recommend you to one of our neighbors who have our same passion for a quality vacation.

We really liked the condo and beach of Santa Rosa!! Wish we (or someone) had been told that they were doing alot of renovations to the building! Started early in the morning and went until evening! Never knew when you walked into the den, kitchen area if someone would be standing on your deck! Then they started sawing down the fence around the pool! BIG mess!! Our friend was relaxing around the pool and a large piece of fence fell right beside her chair! Gave her quite a scare!! Wasn't the quiet, relaxing vacation we had hoped for!! :(Owner response: Thanks for the feedback that you really liked our condo. The building renovations that you describe have been in progress for some time to ensure that Gulf Place Caribbean continues to be a top notch destination on 30A. During the six months this work has been happening, the building management and renovation team have been very deliberate in trying to minimize impact to our guests and be invisible. In fact they had a specific requirement that any access to our deck needed to be done from the outside so that our guests would not be inconvenienced. I regret that the dates you were there were times that the renovation crew was not invisible. All the work is now complete and the property is stunning! LOVED MY STAY AT CASA DEL MAR CONDO. GREAT PLACE TO RELAX. WOULD DRINK MY CUP OF COFFEE IN THE MORNING WHILE LOOKING OUT AT THE OCEAN. BEAUTIFULLY FURNISHED AND AWESOME KITCHEN. BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE. THERE WERE THREE OF US STAYING WITH PLENTY OF ROOM TO MILL AROUND WITHOUT BUMPING INTO EACH OTHER! ONE BATHROOM WORKED FOR THREE PEOPLE (2 ADULTS AND 1 TEENAGER), BUT FOUR OR MORE WOULD REQUIRE STRATEGIC PLANNING UNLESS THE FOURTH PERSON WAS A CHILD...THEN OK. ONLY ONE COMPLAINT, BUT IT ISN'T ABOUT THE CONDO.....WHEN WE GOT THERE THE ELEVATOR WAS NOT WORKING. FOUR FLIGHTS OF STAIRS WITH HEAVY SUITCASES WAS ALMOST TOO MUCH. I HAD JUST HAD SOME SURGERY AND WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE LIFTING OR PULLING ANYTHING! LUCKILY WE HAD SOME FRIENDS STAYING AS WELL AND THEY HELPED US GET OUR LUGGAGE UP. I CALLED THE FRONT DESK AND THEY WERE VERY LITTLE HELP...BASICALLY JUST SAID "SORRY" AND "WE ARE TRYING TO GET IT FIXED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE". THERE WAS NO OFFER OF HELP EVEN AFTER I EXPLAINED MY HEALTH SITUATION.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I am sorry to hear about the elevator situation and I have followed up with the site manager and he advised that while they waited for the repair man, he had two staff members taking bags up for guests and he regrets that you were not helped as well. He assured me that our guests' health, safety, and expectations being continuously exceeded with a platinum experience are what we strive for and expect. This unit is just perfect for a small family! It is beautifully decorated and has a great view. It was just as described on the listing, clean and crisp. Santa Rosa Beach is the place to stay. It's quaint and quiet, yet close to all the great places Destin has to offer. The owners are friendly!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
