Home is located on the west end of Galveston Island, away from the traffic, but close to restaurants and shopping. Beautiful ocean views, you are just steps from the beach in a quiet cul-du-sac . Access to the beach is not open to the general public, so it often seems as if you have your own private beach.
3 bedrooms. 2 baths, sleeps 11. One king, 2 pyramid bunks, 1 futon, and 1 twin. The downstairs bedroom and bath are separate for extra privacy and has a small refrigerator.
Fully stocked kitchen with a spice cabinet for your use. Large open area for entertaining with tall ceiling, and a full skylite in the living area. Relax on the covered deck area enjoying the ocean breeze, or sun on the open deck area. Covered area downstairs with grill, swing and picnic table for those beach crafts with the kids. A big toy box with some beach toys provided. Outdoor shower with H/C water on the downstairs deck.
Home is newly renovated and decorated with nautical antiques.
All new mattresses, tile, granite, marble and a beautiful fireplace for our winter guests. Wetbar with a wine cooler for those extra drinks. HD/DVR/DVD on the big screen,(cable with HBO) with flat screens and DVD players in all bedrooms. . Full washer/dryer. WI/FI, New AC in 2011.
For those guests that it is important to be able to travel with your pet, we are pet-friendly with a non-refundable deposit. The deck has a latching gate, to keep them safe.

Why Jamaica Beach:
My husband grew up visiting Galveston, and introduced it to me in 2001. After several visits, I fell in love with the history and the charm of the island.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Beach area is very quite, and perfect for the family with children, or taking the dog for a long walk.
Surf fishing is great, right in front of the house. Schlitterbaun, Moody Gardens, restaurants and shopping close by.
Great neighborhood, with the extra safety of the Jamaica Beach Police/Fire, and frequent beach patrol.
