We have finally returned home after a slow, meandering drive. We spent three months in the upstairs apartment. There were some initial problems due to their lack of experience in the rental business. A quick call to the owner and everything was put right. This is an old house in a neighborhood of old houses so it does not have a "rental" feel. I would not recommend it for families with small children. Lucy, though new to the job as property manager, was delightful and we will miss her cheery "good mornings". The biggest selling point of this apartment was it's location. We walked to the post office and library. Down the street was the trolley to all the beaches. The trolley goes all the way to The Pier in St. Petersburg! We are outdoors types and spent most of our time on nature trails and in public gardens. But there is an equal amount of nightlife nearby. The nightly Pier 60 sunset party was great fun as was the Blues Festival, which we walked to. The choice of beautiful beaches is endless. So, if you are looking for a affordable, quiet spot near everything I would recommend this location.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, pet owners, age 55+.

Loved our stay at this two story apartment. Lucy...the apartment manager was absolutey wonderful and helpful in every way. The apartment was upstairs and close to Clearwater Beach. It just took us 8 minutes to get to the Beach. Walking distance to downtown. If you want to be close to everything...This is a great place to stay for a very reasonable price. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5, We did have to climb a flight of stairs, and there was no pool.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 7/7

Cancellation policy:
Check-in after 2pm EST, Check-out by 11am EST DAMAGE/SECURITY DEPOSIT- A deposit of $500 is required. The deposit is not applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within 14 days of departure, provided the following provisions are met. A. No damage is done to the unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. B. No charges are incurred due to contraband, collection of rents or services rendered during the stay. C. All debris and rubbish are placed in trash cans located in the back yard, and soiled dishes are cleaned. Please wash all dishes pots, dishes, and surfaces straightaway and not leave them until later, as this is Florida and unwashed dishes and surfaces attract critters. D. All keys are left in the lock box and apartment is left locked. E. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure. F. No linens are lost or damaged. CANCELLATIONS- A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations are made more than thirty (30) days prior to arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and damage/reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. INCLUSIVE FEES- Rates include a one-time linen towel setup on arrival. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE-While linens and bath towels are included in the apartment, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest that you bring your own beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the cottage. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS- Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in. PARKING- Parking is limited to two (2) vehicles. One in the street and the other in the private driveway. Parking on Osceola, a one way road, is permitted if vehicle is parked in correct direction within the marked allowed space. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees and is the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. STORM POLICY/WEATHER CONDITIONS- No refunds will be given for weather. Florida is subject to severe weather conditions.
