We were in NOLA for the NCAA Women's Final Four Tournament. We decided to rent a house rather than stay in a hotel. This house was very conveniently located to public transportation, restaurants and bars. It was nice to be close enough to the French Quarter for visiting and to be located in the Garden District where we could experience the different establishments and get the flavor of the neighborhood rather than the touristy French Quarter. The house itself was quite roomy and comfortable for our group of 7 women. We would definitely rent this house again when in the NOLA area.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car.

My family of 5 and a babysitter stayed at the townhouse for a weekend in late March and enjoyed ourselves very much. The unit is very nice, charming, and clean. The location is perfect for anyone visiting New Orleans who wants to experience more than just the French Quarter, which is not far via the St. Charles street car. Would visit again in a heartbeat.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

We had a great experience with both the property and the owner Teresa, who was extremely conscientious and communicative. The townhouse is in exceptional condition, tastefully decorated, and has all the amenities you'll need (including nice towels). We shared the house with both our parents and six-year old daughter. Perfect for all. Fantastic location, as well, with a coffee shop directly across the street, and tons of good restaurants and shopping within a short walk. Thanks for a great time in New Orleans.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

Excellent location...close to great dinning, bus route, easy walk to St. Charles for the parades, and shopping... and it was great having parking spots.... by the way the neighbors were very friendly and helpful... The townhouse was clean and well maintained, very comfortable... We would consider rerenting this townhome for future visits to New Orleans... The owners were very friendly and extremely helpful... thank you Teresa...Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

We really enjoyed the layout of the house. Perfect for my husband and I plus our sons and daughter in laws...several really great restaurants all within walking distance. The trolley was not working to the French quarter which was a problem as a bit far to walk. However, we really loved the house and the location. We will definitely be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

My groomsmen and I stayed here for my wedding 2 weeks ago. We had a great time, plenty of space. I have no complaints. The owners were very hospitable, we were allowed to bring our bags in early because our flight got in earlier than expected. The very nice housekeeper was there cleaning when we got there, as a group had just checked out the same day we were arriving. I couldn't tell at all. Very short walk to Magazine St., everything you need is walking distance, Walgreens, Breaux Mart, Bars, restaurants, cigar shops, etc. Short drive downtown, we took Tchopoutilas (sp?), found that quicker than St. Charles. Only suggestion, if possible would be a TV downstairs. But again, the den on the 2nd floor is very comfortable. I'll definitely be checking this one out again when I go back to New Orleans!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

This is a lovely 3 bedroom townhouse with a library room, a living room, and an eat-in kitchen. It is clean, modern, and nicely cared for. It has a small garden in the back, and a small garage in the front. It is convenient to a bus line (half a block away), and is in an interesting neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants to explore. We were here to attend a convention, and found it easy to get to the convention center by bus, and occasionally by walking. However, a car is recommended. Our experience with the owner was excellent. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing.

This townhouse will exceed your expectations. The owner pays extra attention to details, e.g., comfortable beds, nice linens, kitchen stocked with everything you need, etc. The house was immaculate and well-maintained. It's located within walking distance to restaurants (Coquette (yum)), bars, coffee (Community Coffee) boutiques (too many to name), the St. Charles streetcar -- and much, much more. If you want to enjoy New Orleans from a local perspective, you will love staying here.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

About the owner: The townhouse is used on by my family when they are visiting New Orleans but we are happy to share with you so you too can love NOLA as we do!
Why the Owner Chose Garden District:
“Madame Lily Devalier always asked 'Where are you?' in a way that insinuated that there were only two places on earth one could be: New Orleans and somewhere ridiculous.”
Tom Robbins, (Jitterbug Perfume)
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
