We stayed for a week celebrating Christmas with our family. The house is just lovely way lovelier than the picture. The beach is gorgeous. We brought our small dog as well. The house had everything we needed to celebrate our Christmas festivity. It was so relaxing. Perfect for holiday getaway. Our daughters went parasailing and kayaking. The agent we dealt with , Barb was amazing and very helpful from the very beginning till the end. Lots of email going back and forth with my every query and she answered very quickly. We also met the owners and they were lovely. There was just one very minor thing. It listed a bbq grill. It was there but not really in good state. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to relax by the beach in beautiful Ft Myers Beach.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, pet owners, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway.

My girlfriends and I had a great time staying in this beach house. There were five of us so the large size home was perfect. The location can not be beat and it feels very private even though there are many high rise condo's next door. The beach was pristine and shops and restuarants are in walking distance. I hope we can return this fall.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway.

Spent a week in November at this lovely Beach cottage with 4 of my friends from high school. It was to celebrate the first of us turning 50. We had a blast. We chose this location due to the fabulous beach area and the size of the house... the house is well suited for entertaining and relaxing. It was one of the most enjoyable vacations in recent memory. The open floor plan in the front of the house and the fabulous views make this a place that we will certainly be happy to re-visit. Loved It!!!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

Pros: Great view of the beach with easy access to the beach. Washer and dryer were acceptable. Cons: Linens and furnishings look as though they were obtained from a thrift store many years ago. Decor was outdated and in need of repair/updating. Beds were horrible! There was no bath soap, garbage bags and little toilet paper. The TVs were old and very small with inoperable remotes. The master bedroom TV was incredibly small with only a few channels. Carpet was old aqua shag and absolutely filthy! Would never consider walking barefoot. Some outlets, lights and porch lights were inoperable.Owner response: Your comments have been taken in a constructive way and we will sure to correct the issues mentioned. It is a very old and quaint beach cottage with return guests every year for the last 25 years. We have since replaced all the carpet, put in flat screen tv's in living room and master bedroom, painted inside rooms and replaced linens and bedding.
