Comfortable single family home in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Remodeled just a few years ago- wood details throughout, and beautiful kitchen with granite counters and gas stove. Many windows look out on private back patio with hot tub. Sky lights let in more light. Trees surround our home, and behind us is a beautiful hillside, making our patio feel secluded and embraced by nature. We have a total of 4 bedrooms (one is with a loft bed, and one is with a set of bunk beds). There is also an office with space for sleeping on the floor. The office and two bedrooms have blackout shades. The loft has a very comfortable queen bed. Master bath has a rainshower shower head, and pebble floor. The entire home has hydronic radiant heat floors, so your feet are cozy whenever the heat is on- especially in the master bathroom. A gas fireplace creates more coziness in the family room.
We live in a quiet, friendly, family neighborhood a stone's throw from San Francisco. In 20 minutes you can drive across the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco. You can take one of the many ferries to get there. If you prefer more natural pleasures, Mount Tam is very close, where you'll find world class mountain biking, or scenic hiking. Muir Woods is a 30 minute drive. The ocean is accessible at several beaches approximately 20-25 minutes away. The surfing us often quite good. In a nice 1 hour walk/hike from our house, you can ascend the ridge above our neighborhood and have a 360 degree view of the area, including much of the bay, the Golden Gate bridge, and the nearby islands. Historic and scenic downtown Tiburon is 4 miles away. We are in an ideal location to explore the beaches, all the towns in Marin, the wine country, and San Francisco as well as Berkeley sights.

We also charge a $300 security deposit, which will be returned to you within 1 week of your departure if the property is in the same condition as when you arrived.

Cancellation policy: no refund will be given unless the property is rebooked. If it is rebooked, you will receive your full deposit minus $50.

It's very close to San Francisco, and all the rich cultural opportunities there. Natural beauty is also very accessible due to proximity of Mt Tamalpais, San Francisco Bay and the ocean. Despite all this accessablity, it is quiet and private.
