My wife & I with our 11 year old Westie, stayed on Neil Bay for a week. Very nice home with all amenities. Great view, comfortable, very quiet. Beach is not for small kids or elderly. Difficult to get to beach. Manage, John, was very helpful and quick to respond to requests.

This was a great house that fit our 2 families perfectly. It was clean and there was some upgrades that were nice. The appliances were a bit out dated but worked fine. The beds were comfortable and there is 2 king master suites. It was great to be able to take a few steps down to the beach. This was great for the kids to find lots or rocks, crabs, shells, and even a purple star fish. From our deck we saw a small group of whales and a sea lion!! John the caretaker was very nice and helpful. He was available easily by e mail and answered all my questions quickly. We can't wait to come back to this place and would recommend this place to everyone.

Stunning home in Roche
Stunning home in Roche
It was a surprise trip to Roche Harbor with my girlfriend (now fiance). Obviously she knew we were headed to the San Juan Island as soon as we boarded the ferry early Friday morning. We got into Friday Harbor and needless to say she was ecstatic knowing we were going to be staying along weekend on the island she grew up going to as a child. We drive into Roche Harbor and asked if we are staying in Roche. I said, perhaps.... We keep driving and turn down the road that she grew up going to. We pulled up to the house and I said, "Yup, that's the one." She said, "You have got to be kidding me!!!!!!!" It was just 3 houses down from her families :) We would describe it as a very peaceful and extremely beautiful home to stay in. I proposed to her that weekend, the weather was gorgeous out being able to stay in that home made it all the more memorable!!! We would highly recommend staying there, it's amazing. Not to mention how large it is. You could have 3 families there at the same time, all with their own areas of the home and still be very comfortable. The tv room, hot tub, formal living room, dining room, kitchen and our favorite, the patio were all amazing. The place is that nice... We are looking for rental time now for our whole family for this summer!!!

Manager response: I've found that you need to be extremely cautious when visiting San Juan Island. It gets in your blood and you soon discover that you are not content anywhere else. You just keep coming back! It happened to me. It may happen to you!
