From the moment you arrive at this two acre Shawnigan lakefront rental property, you enter a world of peaceful seclusion. With 330 feet of shoreline in a protected quiet bay, surrounded by lush natural vegetation and mature forested land, you can be assured of privacy while you enjoy this unique waterfront location. The home is conveniently situated just 35 feet from the water's edge with gently sloping pathways leading to the spacious dock and sandy beach area that's ideal for small children. This weed-free, deep water location is perfect for all water ports, including swimming and boating. For your security and convenience there is on-site parking.
ACCOMMODATION
The three bedroom house comfortably accommodates up to six people. This Art Deco styled home, when built in the late 1940s was one of the original year 'round residences on the west side of the lake. Lovingly maintained, the interior features a breakfast nook, a variety of warm wood finishes, and has an efficient wood-burning fireplace nestled in a brick feature wall in the large central room. With over 20 windows, some floor to ceiling, you can be assured of breathtaking views from every room. Outside, you'll enjoy the
spacious patio ( partially covered ) when barbecuing for friends and family. It's here you can enjoy the warmth and beauty of evening and setting sun as you relax and unwind from the day's activities.

Thank you so much for such for a great rental experience. Everything we needed was provided even the water toys and playpen for our granddaughter. It all worked out for our daughter and her family to come up from Victoria to join us for a few days. Such a special time we had. My husband and myself loved the early morning sun on the dock as we sat and enjoyed a good book with our first coffee of the day. The BBQing on the lovely patio was a great way to relax and finish off each day. The stay was so pleasant that we only left the property twice to get more food.Thank you again and we are really looking forward to our next stay this August.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+.

We had a fabulous time, even though the weather was not great all the time. We just loved the ambiance of the 40's style home and the amazing early morning sunrise. Loved the lobster at Steeples Restaurant in the Village. It was so quiet and peaceful. We thouroughly enjoyed our relaxing getaway week. Everything was perfetct. Thank you!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+.

We arrived two hours after the agreed upon check-in time, and the owner was still there, trying to move massive piles of clutter around the house. She assured us it would be ready to check in in three hours, but there was no way it would be in a safe condition for us and our two children. There were piles of clutter on the beds, the couch, the counters, and little room to move around. We asked for our money back, as it was clearly a breach of contract and very unsafe. She gave us only a partial refund. We considered involving the authorities, but since we're American and it was in Canada, we figured it would not be worth the trouble.
