  My husband and I spent a fabulous 3 weeks, October 21-November 11, 2012 in Grand Case in this apartment. We had never been to St. Martin before and were very pleased to discover that we "got it right" on all aspects. The Bleu Marine Residence is new and very secure: an electric gated for the parking, front door with code access, electric shutter for the bedroom window and the large terrace, security box in the unit. We must say that the residence is absolutely beautiful and I would say one of the best places to stay in Grand Case. The unit was exactly as pictured, clean and comfortable, well decorated, located directly on the beach, surrounded by tropical plants, and had absolutely stunning views. The kitchen has all the amenities you need for cooking a full meal! But, if you want to eat out, within walking distance, Grand Case village has many wonderful places to experience French Cuisine and local island foods as well. My husband and I loved sitting on the terrace in the morning with fresh croissants and at night with a fresh baguette, a glass of wine, and sliced cheeses, all the while looking out at the sunset over the Caribbean. In 3 weeks, we had all the time to tour the island and several beaches, Pinel island, visit St Barth! But also spent a lot of our time on the beach in front of the apartment swimming and taking long walks. We have no hesitation to recommend this apartment. Thanks to Arnaud for his recommendations and assistance during our stay. Note to the owner: the two long chairs provided are very design and comfortable but they are too nice, too heavy and inadequate for the beach (sand, salt, water). A nice addition would be two beach chairs.

  First, let me start by saying, this is by far one of the best locations in St. Martin. This is an excellent one bedroom apartment on the first floor in the brand new property. Immediate access to the beach from an enclosed screen door balcony with breath taking views of the ocean. The water is no more than 75 feet from the balcony. All pictures on VRBO are only a tease of what the place is really like. Cozy, nicely furnished, excellent bathroom and being a professional chef, the kitchen layout was perfect for basic cooking. However, there is little to no need for cooking because Grand Case has many great restaurants to choose from; whether it's local ribs and chicken at the Lolo's to Caribbean Creole to my wife and I's favorite French restaurant, Le Cottage. We have traveled to St. Martin 2-3 times a year and usually stayed at a major hotel or a rented timeshare for the past 20 years. This by far is one of the best recommendations I would give to stay on the beach and to be close to good food without getting in a car. Arnaud, the property manager, was excellent. He took care of all our requests quickly with no problems. Just a couple of things to be aware of. First, there are some dogs that are not leashed and are on the beach on a regular basis. There are no 110 volt outlets, which Arnaud said he will fix in the near future. So for now, bring your own full set of outlet converters for any electronic devices you may have with you. Be very careful driving out of the gated parking lot, as the driveway leads directly to the busy main road. Watch the mirror across the street for safety and wait your turn patiently. Remember, you're on vacation, RELAX. If you're looking for any television stations, CNN and one other channel are in English. All other channels are in French. This is an apartment, so prepare yourself and bring your own coffee, filters and food supplies which you can get at a great supermarket only a half-mile away. Get your own cell phone (rented at supermarket for cheap) because the apartment phone does not work. If you use the washer and dryer inside the unit, hopefully Arnaud will have a translated instruction sheet for operating. Wi-Fi is excellent and internet is not a problem. With all this said, it was a relaxing and peaceful time. This will definitely be my home away from home when in St Martin. Thank you Arnaud and Asumpta for a great vacation.

  The condo was delightful with a wonderful view and we sat in the two lounge chairs a lot enjoying the ocean view. The kitchen worked well for us and we made many of our meals there. It was most comfortable and we enjoyed every moment. The French bakery was our breakfast each morning with baguettes and wonderful rolls.

  Our stay at Bleu Marine in Grand Case was exactly what we were looking for in a winter escape. The apartment was beautifully decorated and well-maintained. We rented a one bedroom, ground floor suite in the building for our week long stay. We could walk out of the unit directly to the quiet beach (complete with beach chairs) and were not more than a 5 minute walk to the main street in Grand Case. Everyone involved from the owner, who we dealt with first through www.vrbo.com, to the property manager, Arnaud, who helped us out tremendously during our stay, were so responsive to our requests and questions. This was our first time in St. Martin; there is no question in our minds we'll be back to Grand Case and the Bleu Marine again. Tara and Nate - Toronto

  It was simple perfect. All Israël inside to facilite your Way of Life. Easy access to the seaside. Really perfect. I would recommand it to anyone and Will Come back there.

  I have been with my husband for our wedding anniversary at the end of the year 2011. The place is so romantic and Assumpta, the owner furnished with so taste. The place is very romantic, the building is brand new and we went to the restaurant walking through the beach. Grand Case is a charming village, what a choice of french and caribbean restaurants. Definitely will return next year! Thanks again
