the tree house lodge is different from anywhere else you can stay in costa rica. it's up in the tree, or layed back in the largest bathroom of costa rica. close the the sea and mostly green around you. we integrated a natural habitat with luxery and lots of comfort. It's what they so call an eco-destination.
The Unique Benefits at this Two Private Houses
Probably the best part of staying at the tree house is that you enjoy the connection with nature: its a real sustainable living experience. Part of the tree house concept is the green iguana foundation. the foundation was established in 2002. the goal is to raise iguanas to release them back into the wild. besides that we do many workshops with local school children. part of the benefits from the tree house are donated to the foundation.

as far as i know this particular beach is the best on the entire caribbean coast. tell me if you find a better one. Ceasar's lounge restaurant and Lucas his dive shop next door make the place complete

your best choice for local food at walking distance is for sure at Selvin's. remember Friday night is his ron down night. that's typical Caribbean sea food soup.

My name is Edsart Besier. originally i am from Holland but moved down here in 1992. together with my girlfriend pamela and our fantastic staff we run all together the tree house lodge in Punta Uva. Since i have been in costa rica i focus my work on small sustainable tourism projects. The tree house lodge i started about 7 years ago. it all started with the tree house. after that i build more houses on the same 300 meters private ocean front property in Punta Uva.
During the last few years i have been working also on the development of small ecological residential projects. The idea is to help people creating ( building) a natural and more sustainable life style.
