This 2250 square foot, 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom townhouse is located in the heart of the Old Mill District in Bend. Despite being new construction, the home is crafted with modern lodge style, and pays homage to it's Old Mill roots with photos of historic Bend. As with out other property, we don't put in any furniture we don't like ourselves, so comfort should never be an issue in this luxury townhouse.
Upon entering the home you can take advantage of a two car tandem garage with extra room for ski tuning or bike maintenance. A hot and cold water spicket means you can wash the car, the pooch, or any gear in the driveway without getting too cold. The stamped concrete foyer with coat closet allows you to come inside and change out of any outerwear in comfort, while minimizing any mess.
Moving upstairs brings you straight into the gourmet kitchen with hardwood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, 6 burner gas stove, extra deep sink, and wine refrigerator means you can cook in style and comfort when you are not dining at the Old Mill's many restaurants. Two barstools at the center island make a great breakfast bar while still leaving plenty of counter space for food preparation.
Open to the kitchen is a gorgeous wood dining room table with matching chairs. The table extends easily from seating for 6 to seating for 8.
The great room is open to the kitchen and comes furnished with a comfortable leather sectional, as well as two upholstered chairs for ample seating. The brick encased gas fireplace gives an urban touch to the home. Above the fireplace is a Sony Bravia 40 inch flatscreen TV,recessed into the brick column, on an articulating arm which allows viewing in the kitchen as well. Attached to the great room is foosball table, perfect for lettings people play a game out of the way without being feeling detached from the rest of the group.
Off the great room is a sliding glass door to the front balcony, with seating for two and a peekaboo river view.
The main floor also has a full bathroom and a back patio with gas BBQ and outdoor dining set.
Finishing the floor is a bedroom with two twin size beds and closet. With each bed comes two standard pillows, as well as Ralph Lauren sheets. A hypoallergenic comforter ensures anyone with allergies or asthma sleeps easily.
The Master Bedroom in the house is a large suite with a king size bed, a desk, seating area for morning coffee for two, ensuite bathroom, walk in closet, and Sony Bravia TV. The seating area is located in front of windows with mountain, river, and Old Mill views. The bathroom has an Ultra Bain Air Jet Tub, shower, and dual vanities. Continuing through the bathroom is a private walk in closet, with cedar plank lined edges. With plenty of drawers, shelves, and hanging rods you will not lack for storage options during your stay. This master suite is perfect for relaxing while on vacation.
The second suite on the floor provides another king size bed, ensuite bathroom, and walk in closet. While not as large as the master suite, it still provides plenty of room and comfort for another couple in the home. Both bedrooms have large windows to bring in natural light.
The top floor is finished with a linen closet and laundry room with utility sink, bar for hanging wet clothes, and a Kenmore Elite washer/dryer set with pedestals for easy loading. There is also enough counter space to fold clothes.
The house features a Crestron control system that custom controls every light in the house, gas fireplace, both TV's, DVD player, music for the master bedroom, great room, kitchen, and both patios so you can listen to 'the big game' while BBQ'ing outside. Heat, AC, the front door camera are all controlled from one of the two control panels. The TV remotes are also synced to control many of the lights in the house, ensuring you have the perfect light level level for viewing without having to get up. Walking in or out of the house everything can be turned on or off with the simple touch of a single button. This system does preclude guests from connecting any other sources of input, like an iPod on gaming system.

About the owner: We live in Bend because we can live near family, love outdoor sports, enjoy the great food and local breweries, and that people smile and say hi when you pass them on the sidewalk. Our Australian Shepherd is almost always with us, and loves all the dog parks around town or playing outside with us. Brian is originally from Maine, and Megen from Seattle. We have both lived in the Pacific Northwest for the last decade, and don't ever plan on leaving. We work hard to make sure both our properties feel like home, which is how we think of them.
Why the Owner Chose Bend: This house was the perfect compliment to our other home, which is located closer to historic downtown and has a midcentury modern design element. We knew we wanted a place by the Old Mill because of all the actives, trails, and events it has. Staying at the house for two weeks after we bought it, we never knew how much we would love it!
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome: The townhouse may have luxury finishes and plenty of room, but the location is the best thing about it. Drinking coffee in the master bedroom while looking at the river is a great way to start a relaxing day.
