Thank you for entrusting your beautiful place to the 7 of us these last four days. The house is beautifully decorated and kitchen was well stocked. Did lots of hiking - Benham Falls, Smith Rock, Lava Lands, Lave Cast Forest, and Big Obisidian Flow. The hot tub was great (had to call to get it going). Had fun riding the cruisers. Unfortunately, it rained off and on so we didn't make it to the pool. Nice quiet cul-de-sac here. Hope to rendezvous here again next summer! May the Lord bless you two for your generosity. Thanks again.

Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We spent five wonderful days here and each day was filled with lots of fun activities. We had family from Upstate New York and Arizona with us and the ages were from 5-months to 80 years. Everyone had much to do and will have fond memories of our vacation for years to come. From Guest Book: Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful home. My family and I came here to race dirt bikes @ China Hat and Fort Rock. We all competed in a 45-mile desert race then came back to the wonderful hot tub and comfortable house to lick our wounds. Thank goodness for the hot tub! My children loved the puzzles and I was grateful for the kid's books for bedtime stories. We got a sprinkle of snow with just a spot here and there sticking. Winter is here Thank you again..

You have a beautiful home and we had a wonderful stay. The towels were luscious, the beds were soft. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking items that we needed. The hot tub was way awesome and cool to have on a cold day. BBQ works great. 2009 Christmas.

From Guest Book: This was our first time in Sunriver during the Summer. Your home was great and the setting was beautiful. The deer came right up to the back deck as we were relaxing at the table. The kids had so much fun playing outside. We enjoyed riding the cruisers around Sunriver. What a great vacation with close friends.

Hi Joyce We just wanted to say that we had such a wonderful time at Sunriver and really enjoyed your home. It was so clean and neat when we arrived. The beds and sheets are absolutely so comfortable that they reminded us of the heavenly beds from the Westin Hotel :) And your towels after the hot tub every night were so cozy. Our kids had a ball! Enjoying the swimming pools, walks, biking, Fort Rock Park, the river loop, marina, and we also did put-put at the golf course and the driving range. The location of your house is great too....centrally located to everything....we just felt like it was truly one of our best family vacations and totally fell in love with the area.

The hot tub and back deck were wonderful in the evenings. Two families of four stayed comfortably here and two other families were close by. This was our main meeting place. the guys played lots of golf. Moms and kids biked and sat by the pool. we would recommend always waring bike helps because the bike trails here are actually pretty dangerous (varying abilities of bike riding skills, frequent stopping on the paths and little kids biking alone. Thanks for your hospitality and sharing your wonderful vacation spot. P.S. the stove/oen works great!

Joyce was a delight to work with-we will be visiting this house again!

From Guest Book: We have enjoyed a fantastic week in your wonderful home in Central Oregon. The house is very well furnished and equipped. Lots of space, a hot tub that we all enjoyed (home away from home)! and outdoor evenings on the decking. We've put many miles on the bikes, many laps in the swimming pool and kayaked down the river. Paul even got in a round of golf at Lost Tracks. A wonderful resort in a great locality. We recommend the Trout House restaurant down by the marina. So, all in all we feel the house exchange with "Les Bouleaux" in Dordogne, France has been a great success. Thank you both for your part in making this happen. We enjoyed biking, swimming, fishing, etc. There is always something to enjoy. We will all remember cocktails on the deck watching the deer walk through the different houses. From Guest Book: Dear Joyce & Bill - Our family had a wonderful and memorable holiday in your lovely home. Niel, Donna and Christopher Armstrong flew to Bend from Malibu, CA. Jim and Chris Lee drove over from Roseburg, OR. Blaine Lee and his girlfriend Elsa Allen joined us from Seattle, WA. Saturday before Easter found all but Niel enjoying a picture perfect day of skiing and snowboarding on the mountain. On Sunday we enjoyed a special breakfast Easter egg hunt -- we might not have found them all -- (not real eggs) and a special devotional to celebrate our belief in Christ's resurrection. God Bless!

This is our second year here in Tan Oak 28. We have really enjoyed it and hope to come back here next year! We loved skiing up at Mt. Bachelor and also biking around Sunriver. It's a great place for a vacation! This house is perfect in every way.

I had a lot of fun playing the snow. Skiing was hard but then it got to eventually be so much fun. When I was sledding, I fell off almost every time. I was in front of my Dad when I was snow mobiling and we accidentally went into the unridden snow on the side and we had to stop and get the snow off the lights, then we had to go really fast to catch back up to everybody. Golf and all the bike rides were great too. To come home to such a comfy, and loving, warm, home feel is great! I already miss everyone. Those goodbyes were hard! Thanks for taking care of me. From Guestbook: (Day 5) Dear Aunt Joyce & Uncle Bill. I couldn't wait so I had to write today! This house is unique and very beautiful! The downstairs kitchen with the bar is so neat! And, that bedroom off the stairs (well sort of off the stairs) is so neat too. I love all the sliding doors and natural light especially the huge window in the big bedroom upstairs. The sites around here are great too. I loved climbing Mt. Bachelor and walking around Lake Todd. Mini golf was great, too. But, the best part was getting to spend time with you guys and Aunt Carla, Barbi, Mark, Connor, Uncle Dale, Aunt Janice and Cody. There's a lot of decorations, but not too many. Love you so much and thanks for sharing your great -- no wonderful -- home with us. Plus the wrap-around deck is great!

We swam, rock climbed, rafted, shopped, played games, ran, biked, ate too much and laughed. We've stayed in Sunriver many times and each time dreamed of having a great home such as yours! Your house was so comfortable and we found everything we needed. Our daughters loved their room with bears and tv (I believe it went on once -- although the IDEA of having a tv in their room sent them over the moon!) Thank you so much for offering your home, and although it is a bit of a cliche in this book -- we will be back!

Sunriver is the best! The river is great to canoe or kayak down. Music in the plaza at the village in the evenings is a fun place to meet. Trout House at the marina for a nice lunch. Bike/walk all the lovely trails and just enjoying the views of the mountains. The Crooked River Train is a blast out of Redwood - fun entertainment and beautiful scenery. Weather was great -- 80's - no rain.
