We've been going to OC for the past 6 years now and we stay at different condos each time. This year we rented from Fred and had a great experience. The place is perfectly furnished and impeccably clean. We got a great view of the unexpected fireworks over the bay. It's within walking distance of OC Steamers, Taphouse and Seacrets, which were great for our nightly cocktails. The bus stop is right in front of the building and across the street, in front of On The Bay Seafood (which was awesome by the way) - very convenient for our teens to get to/from the Boardwalk. Ample parking, great security. Free wifi - awesome! And Fred was very responsive to my emails. I'll be sure to try this place again in the future!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a great time on our vacation to Ocean City! Staying at Fred's condo in the Makai made the trip so much more enjoyable. We all had our own space, the condo was very clean, well-kept, updated and overall a really nice place to stay. Having the washer and dryer was super helpful with a family of 5! The building was very clean as was the indoor pool. Fred was awesome about answering our questions prior to our stay and even while we were there. I would definitely recommend this rental to friends and family!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

A great place centrally located on the strip with a beautiful view of the bay. The condo was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We took our 16 year old grandson and two of his friends for a week vacation. They had a blast. Having full access to the pool tables, workout room and video games at the Makia was an added bonus for the kids. We would diffidently consider staying there again, and again and again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Had a blast in this perfect condo overlooking the bay but with views of the ocean. My 2 young children loved being able to watch the boats, jet skis and ducks on the bay. The condo is in perfect condition and the 4 of us had plenty of room. We were very impressed with the cleanliness not just of the condo but the entire building and all the facilities. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool, especially when it rained our second day. The condo is in a perfect location to be able to walk to most places without needing to move your car. Even the walk to the beach was easy. We definitely would like to stay there again and have recommended it to friends and family.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I stayed in this Makai Condo in April for a quick getaway. The Condo is absolutely fabulous. very clean, well maintained and well stocked for those of us that forget everything like myself. To add extra pleasure to my stay the owner Fred was very patient with my thousand and one questions...Not to mention this was my first time ever visiting Ocean City!!... i look forward to doing business with him in the near future....thanks for the perfect getaway!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

This was a great place to stay for the OC 1/2 Marathon! Owner was super accomodating on a last minute request when trying to find a place to stay and pricing was extremely reasonable in comparison to other places we looked at! Unit is beautiful and the master bed is super comfy!! The location is also great and you have views of both the bay and the ocean from the balcony. We willll definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Very Nice ! Clean !! Swimming pool - water crystal clear ! Entire building very clean. Will definately stay here again ! Thank - You ! Dead Freddie's was Very Good. We were able to walk to convention center - 5 minute walk.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The Makai is located in Mid Town O.C. in the low rise district. The beach is not crowded and Jolly Rodgers Amusement Park is 2 minutes by drive for the kids. The convention center is directly beside the Makai literally walk across 42nd your there. The Makai is 1 block from beach ,shopping,dinning and nightlife.Our balcony provides a great view of Secrets fire works on Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor day.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
This unit is brand new and is considered one of the top 4 most desirable units in the Makai.This unit is extra luxurious you won't be disappointed. The unit is located on the north side of the building staying extra cool on those hot summer days. There is a brand new hotel located next door with a direct view of the pool directly under balcony absolutely gorgeous ! The newly renovated 45th shopping center is a short walk offering new stores and dinning. Secrets is also a short walk offering the best entertainment ,food and nightlife on the EAST COAST!
