Victor cabin description
Seclusion without isolation! This cabin is nestled in the trees at the end of a 1/10 mile long driveway which is plowed during the winter months. You’ll find our lovely cabin located on the foothills between Victor and Driggs, Idaho—only 45 minutes from Jackson Hole and less than 100 miles from Yellowstone's South Entrance. Nestled on seven acres of quaking aspen and pine, this cabin is the perfect place for the vacation you’ll talk about for years.
From our doorstep there’s hiking, mountain biking and bird watching. And Teton Valley offers a wide range of summertime fun, including horseback riding, fishing, golf, canoeing and exploring. If fishing is your love, take a float on the Snake River or fly-fish the local rivers or the world-famous Henry’s Fork. On summer Thursdays, enjoy Music on Main in Victor and the weekly Farmer's Market in Driggs. For fishing you’ll find everything you need—and excellent local knowledge too—at Victor’s Emporium.
A day trip to Jackson gives you access to world-class restaurants, galleries, museums and shopping. Jackson is the gateway to the spectacular Grand Teton Mountains. The Teton National Forest, Gros Ventre Wilderness, Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Lake, Spring Creek Ranch and the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitors Center, each offer unique access to the back country. For a relaxing dinner alongside the Snake River and with the Tetons in full view, visit Dornan’s for pizza and drinks (located in Moose, just north of Jackson).
Winter vacationers will enjoy the great powder and inviting slopes of Grand Targhee Resort, about a 25 minute drive from our cabin. If it's not a stormy day you can drive the pass into Jackson and ski Snow King or Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Other options include skate skiing, cross-country skiing, mountain snowshoe trekking, or snowmobile riding.
Both Driggs and Victor offer rental options for summer or winter activities. Check out Peaked Sports, Teton Valley Adventures, or use other services in town. In addition, you’ll find a good range of restaurants—from The Brakeman in Victor to Teton Thai in Driggs—and a full-service grocery and two organic markets.
Cabin arrangements: Comfortably sleeps eight. The downstairs master bedroom has a king-sized bed. On the second floor you’ll find a private room with a queen bed, and a third bedroom that sleeps four in bunk beds. One of the sofas in the living area pulls out into a sleeper, if needed. There are two full bathrooms, one upstairs and one down, a laundry, and a kitchen with a microwave, stove, oven and dishwasher. The dining table seats six and can be expanded to seat up to ten. The great room is furnished in a western theme and has a large screen TV/DVD/Blue-Ray/Stereo. There is internet service. Winter vacationers will enjoy the wood-burning fireplace. A two-car attached garage makes winter access convenient, and the drive-way is plowed regularly.

Great Long Weekend
Great Long Weekend
I had the pleasure of staying at the cabin for a long weekend. The description of the cabin is 100% accurate and met all expectations. We were not in to cooking but we found great restaurants within a 10 or 15 minute drive. I slept in the upstairs bedroom with the queen bed which was so comfortable. When traveling you never know how the beds might be but when I return I will insist on staying in the same upstairs queen. Highly recommend

Awesome family hangout
Awesome family hangout
I have taken my family up to this cabin on/near the July 4th holiday for the past two years. My 5 year old daughter talks about it for months after the trip. The cabin itself is comfortable. I love that it is isolated deep inside its lot instead of near the road. It makes for a very relaxing vacation. It has a nice layout and easily accomodated two families. The location is beautiful. I had never heard of Victor ID before visiting the cabin. A nice little town with lots of culture. They have a great 4th of July parade that includes numerous activities and booths. You are also only a short drive away from Jackson Hole which has lots of attractions. A great cabin!

Ray and Deni, Thank you for a lovely, relaxing time at your gorgeous cabin! We enjoyed cozying up by the fire and playing cards at night, then sinking into the comfortable log beds at night. Your home is beautifully furnished. We loved hanging out on the deck nestled in the aspens and walking through the quiet neighborhood. Another highlight was visiting the town of Victor for shopping and malted shakes. Of course, the proximity to Jackson for a day trip made a nice excursion. We appreciate your hospitality and attention to details to make our family vacation so enjoyable!

Best of Both Worlds
Best of Both Worlds
We spent a relaxing week at this cabin. I loved the quiet seclusion. The trees are gorgeous and the stars are breathtaking from the porch at night. We loved watching the kids enjoy the simple pleasures of hiking, smore making, swinging and playing ping pong. The property also offers all the modern amenities we were looking for: appliances, internet, big screen tv, laundry. It is close to local recreation and a short (and beautiful) drive to Jackson Hole's tourist attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

About the owner: Our best memories involve family and vacations. And the more active the vacations were the better those memories are. Our family enjoys being outdoors and active but we also enjoy the quiet and solitude afforded when we stay in our mountainside cabin. We enjoy being surrounded by 360 degrees of nature.
Why the Owner Chose Victor:
A family get together first introduced us to the Teton Valley. Now we can't resist spending our free time enjoying all it has to offer. From stargazing - yes there still is a Milky Way! - to downhill & skate skiing, fishing, hiking or sampling the many non-chain eateries we love what locals refer to as the 'basin'.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Time spent at our cabin and it's surroundings is, in a word, rejuvenating! Awaking to see an owl perched on a large rock, or a group of deer grazing just beyond our window, is the best. We've even had a moose bed down feet from our deck! We love people but it's really nice not to see or hear any neighbors for a while! Our cabin is nicely secluded and situated on seven acres of aspen and evergreens, yet only 15 minutes away from Victor or Driggs and the amenities of modern living.
