The apartment is quite comfortable and it has just been completely renewed; it is about 70 square meters and includes an entrance with two armchairs where you can relax with the wonderful view of the Medici Chapels right in front of you, a full-equipped kitchen with lunch counter, two bedrooms (one with double bed - or two single beds - plus a sofa bed for one person or two children and the other with a double bed - or two single beds - plus two chair beds), two bathrooms with shower. Every bed rooms has a 32' tv and all the ambient has refined finishes.
Keywords: The flat is located in Piazza Madonna degli Aldobrandini, one of the most beautiful squares of the city, at the first floor with lift of a building adjacent to the Medici Chapels, wonderful Florentine museum that includes the Chapel of the Princes (the mausoleum of the Medici family) and the Michelangelo's New Sacrity. It is quite peaceful and offers unique views on the Chapels.
All the most interesting and important Florentine works of art, churches and museums are walking distance from Piazza Madonna: Duomo and Battistero, Campanile di Giotto, Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Piazza Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi, Palazzo Pitti, and the same is for the central train station (SMN) that is also an important terminal for buses and tram lines. This apartment is fabulous! It is clean, spacious, and in a great location. From the start, the communications with Benedetta, the owner, was so easy. All emails were attended to immediately. The apartment has great beds and plenty of bedding. The bathrooms are both very nice as well, We traveled with our son, who is a chef, and we especially loved the well-appointed kitchen. Again , the location is great. You are close to everything. Make sure to have dinner at Ciro and Sons - a fabulous restaurant right downstairs. We will most definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This apartment is extremely comfortable and spacious. It is a convenient walk to absolutely everything in downtown Florence, yet while being so centrally located it's actually quiet and peaceful at night so you can get good sleep. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and speak good English. We had an excellent stay, and would recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to Florence.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in the apartment for three nights, and it was one of the best rental choices we have ever made. Apartment is very clean, newly renovated, nicely furnished with great sense of taste . Two large bedroms, two full new and very clean bathrooms, a complete kitchen, clothes washer, and air conditioning. Location is perfect and close to everything you may need - five min walk to the train station - Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN). The bus station that takes you to Siena is only two minutes further. All of the main attractions that we visited - were ten minutes walk or less. There are plenty of good restaurants and small food stores around. Benedetta (via email ) and her mother (who handled our check in) were very friendly and nice. We highly recommend this charming, comfortable apartment.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This apartment in Piazza Madonna turned out to be the absolute perfect place for our month-long stay in Florence. Benedetta answered all of our questions during booking and throughout our stay as needed, and we were greeted warmly by her sister, Gaia. They were so kind, easily accessible, and especially accommodating for our 16 month old son, providing us with everything we needed for him. The apartment itself is equipped with everything one needs. It is in walking distance to the train station, which made taking day trips and weekend getaways really easy and enjoyable. We walked easily to the Central Market for fresh produce and were also very close to other major food stores and shops, and of course, all the major sights of Florence. The piazza itself was a fantastic, lively area that never felt too touristy. Despite the central location, we never heard the city noise inside - it is truly a peaceful and quiet apartment. This trip was a very special one for our family, and I thank Benedetta, Gaia and their mom for making it so memorable.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My family and I only stayed in the apartment for two nights, but it was one of the best rentals I have ever stayed in. Forget the hotels; this place has everything - two large bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a complete kitchen, clothes washer, and air conditioning. All the appliances and fixtures looked very new and the apartment was very clean. The walk to or from the train station -Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN) - is only five minutes. The bus station that takes you to Siena is only two minutes further. All of the main attractions that we visited - Medici Chapels (next door and can be seen from bedroom windows), San Lorenzo Market, Mercato Central, the Duomo, Accademia (where Michelangelo's David is), and Ponte Vecchio - were ten minutes walk or less. This apartment is very special---newly renovated, high ceilings, well-appointed kitchen, spacious bathrooms and closets--in Piazza Madonna near the Medici chapels, the Duomo and the train station. We stayed 5 days and walked everywhere and took the train into the Tuscan villages. Surrounded by shops, awesome restaurants, the market, museums---couldn't have picked a better location. Our vacation was relaxing and unforgetable. Benedetta and Gaia were lovely hosts. Our favorite moments were sitting on the front stoop, drinking wine and watching the bustle of the neighborhood in the sunshine. Ciao!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing.

THE Perfect apartment and location for sightseeing in Florence. Easy walking distance to main attractions and you are at the doorstep of many wonderful restaurants at night.
