We had a fabulous stay in Wailea at this well equipped, nicely remodeled, and comfortable condo. Great location and perfect beach access to one of the prettiest beaches on the island. We are a family of 4 with kids ages 8 and 10. The owners have stocked the condo with beach chairs, an umbrella, good quality snorkel gear, coolers, beach towels, etc. We loved the outdoor patio as well as the Ekahi Village grounds. This is was our first time to Wailea and we will definitely return. Owners were great to work with -- very easy to communicate with and provided us with detailed instructions on accessing the condo, local attractions and restaurants, and tips for enjoying our stay. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

We stayed at Ekahi Village for a lovely week in Feb. The condo was great, well appointed, had many extras that we used= beach chairs, golf clubs, grill, well equipped kitchen if we had wanted to cook. The complex is beautiful and so well maintained- magnificent flowers everywhere, and the whole complex was quiet. In the evenings people went to the pool area to watch the sunsets which were beautiful. Easy beach access, could walk along the beach walk and enjoy the views. No complaints at all. We stayed a second week at a resort in Kaui- and preferred the ease and spaciousness of the condo on Maui to the resort, although the resort was nice as well. Mahalo to the owners for providing such a welcoming and lovely vacation rental.

We have stayed at the same newly-renovated, well-appointed condo in the Ekahi complex for two years in a row, and we're going back to the same unit next January for a third Maui vacation! Our condo was situated very close to the complex's beautifully-kept pool area and beach. Ekahi's guests are a good mix of families and couples; there are always chaise lounges available around the pool, and everyone is friendly. We've even seen whales jumping, out beyond the beach! Most evenings, groups of Ekahi residents and guests meander down to the pool area to watch the amazing sunset. Our Ekahi unit itself and the surrounding premises are always clean and well-maintained, with plenty of parking. We enjoy having all the comforts of home -- there's a BBQ, beach gear and golf clubs available for guests, as well as an iPad so we can keep in touch with friends and family while we're away. The owners were always helpful and responsive to any of our questions. All in all, a great place to spend a holiday!

We just returned from a fabulous visit in paradise at this newly renovated condo. It has everything you'll ever need from granite counter tops in the kitchen, beautifully tiled floors, lovely furnishings to beach chairs, coolers, golf clubs, etc. etc. etc. The location is unbeatable...a short 30 second walk to the pool area and the best beach on Maui. The owners were more than helpful and supplied all information in a timely manner - we will certainly recommend this condo to our friends and can't wait to visit again.

We've been traveling to the various Hawaiian islands for 35+ yrs., have found this area to be ideal and have returned to this location for the past 18+ yrs. Great beaches, pool access, and good restaurants and golf within close proximity. Our stay at this condo was the best yet, excellent location, steps away from the pool and beach. The unit has been recently remodeled, well appointed, everything you need including BBQ, hand trolley to haul stuff back and forth to the pool/beach, kid's beach toys, and an I-pad. Web-page photos and description exactly as we found it. Highly recommend!!

This lovely, well equiped and very comfortable condo was perfect for us! Wailea is my favorite area of Maui to stay in and the location of this beautifully landscaped, well kept property is close to everything I love most about Maui; the beach and great restaurants! The large pool area and pavillion with BBQ and kitchen is overlooking one of the best beaches on the island. The owners of this unit have thought of everything a family could need and we communicated with them several times with quick response. I appreciated the beach equipment most. They also provide internet and satellite TV. The entire place was immaculate and we appreciated the up to date remodeling, lanai, furniture and gas grill. I have already recommended it to my family and friends.

Unit very nicely remodelled, in a great location and with lots of extras (e.g., two sets of golf clubs, beach gear). Very much enjoyed staying there, and would do so again.

Wailea Ekahi is a truly special place. Situated in the most beautiful part of Maui, the serene and picturesque surroundings made for a truly relaxing holiday. The tone is understated luxury with the option of spending your day by one of several pools, by the golden beach, strolling along the coastal pathway, or perusing the beautiful shops down the road. The grounds are spectacular with manicured lawns, bougainvilleas, hibiscus and orchids in bloom, and the sunsets are amazing. The recently renovated condo was like a second home - it was extremely well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday (including entertainment and sightseeing recommendations and an ipad to stay in touch with the outside world!). We had bbqs on the deck when we weren't eating by one of the pools or cooking in the spacious kitchen, and there was plenty of room for four adults to chill out after dinner. We came away from Wailea Ekahi feeling we'd tasted a slice of heaven. We can't wait to visit again!

My family and I enjoyed a spectacular week in Maui and thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this Ekahi condo. We were very impressed with the features of this newly renovated unit, especially the kitchen and quality, comfortable furniture. My wife and I were very impressed with how well equipped the unit was. Everything a family could want or need was on hand from beach toys, boogie boards and beach gear to golf clubs, stroller, baby gear, cooler, you name it... Quality stuff, too. The loaded iPad was a particularly nice touch. The owner has thought of everything. The close proximity of this unit to the pool and beach is very nice, especially with kids and gear in tow. As anyone who's been to Ekahi knows, the grounds and pool area are meticulously maintained and always beautiful. Five stars all the way. Wish we could have stayed longer, but look forward to staying here again.

My husband and I returned today from a week's stay at the condo with our two children (ages 11 & 8). I cannot overstate how wonderful the accomodations were. The condo is extremely clean, newly remodeled (stainless appliances - granite countertops etc.), and easily accessible to the beach, pool, and grocery store. Our kids enjoyed playing on the beach with the many beach toys provided at the condo. The owners are very friendly and went out of their way to make sure our questions were answered promptly and our stay was fabulous. We certainly would recommend this condo to anyone visiting Maui and would certainly stay there again in the future.

We had a lovely stay at Ekahi Village. This property is so centrally located to all that we wanted to do. We really loved being on South Maui and in such a charming setting. The beauty of the grounds at Ekahi Village are exceptional. We didn't see any other property like it. The flowers are gorgeous and unique to this property, and a warm welcome that you are, indeed, on Maui! We were three adults and one child, and this unit was just perfect for our needs. It is totally equipped, and then some, with beach and picnic equipment. This is really useful, as it can be challenging to pack a beach vacation in a suitcase. The owners have also thoughtfully planned for families of young children. It was one of the few properties that we found that was already equipped with a pack and play for our toddler. The interior of the unit was just perfect for us. Although we had hoped to rent a two-bedroom condo since we were traveling with my husband's mother from France, we opted out for this one-bedroom because of its location. It was the right choice. At Ekahi Village, it's so important to be close to the ocean, as it's quite a large property. We were a 2-minute walk to the main pool, and through the gate to the gorgeous beach! In addition, the grounds off the kitchen lanai allowed for lots of extra space for our toddler to run and play, safely! The lanai off the bedroom couldn't be more private. It was definitely worth the second bedroom sacrifice. We have learned that since we were there, the owners have made additional upgrades to the unit. What a bonus! We can't wait to return and will definitely recommend this property to friends and family! A warm Mahalo to the owners, who have truly made every attention to detail in order to make their guests' stay a pleasant one.

Traveling with 2 kids under 2 years old is an adventure, but this unit made our Maui trip so enjoyable! It's location is perfect, as it is super close to the beach and main pool (which is a GREAT pool for kids) but in a very quiet corner with a landscaped area for little ones to play outside. As well, a very important feature was the parking being so close to the door to unload luggage and groceries. The unit was perfectly stocked and having a playpen, beach toys etc. already there was so handy. The beach and ocean in front of Ekahi village is fabulous for everything - snorkeling, boogie boarding, walking (it's at one end of the Wailea boardwalk) and has great tide pools in low tide to look for the little ocean creatures. Overall our experience was wonderful, and we would absolutely come back and recommend this unit to friends and family!

We had a wonderful week with our family (teenage children) at Ekhai Village. The mature landscape added to the peaceful serenity and quiet of the complex and the grounds were beautifully maintained and the staff so friendly. We spent most of our time at the lower pool and the soft sand beach just steps beyond. The easy surf in the mornig was ideal for a long swim and novice snorkerlers, yet later in the afternoon was ideal for body surfing and boogie boarding...something for everyone. We used the spacious covered area near the pool each day for a lunch and again for an evening "happy hour". Although the complex is quite large we found that each unit has its own piece of privacy and we did not feel overwhelmed with the high occupancy during Spring Break. We visited many beaches on this side of the island all very close and enjoyed the varied and attractions of each. The neaby towns of Wailea with its high end hotels and retail offered one end of the spectrum, while the other direction Keihi had more of a small town island feel. We liked the contrast and feel this must certainly be one of the best locations on the island.

OK - here goes: 1. Property was clean and well maintained. 2. I wish that we had been provided a Map of the entire Ekahi complex as we did not discover another swimming pool just up the hill from us until the day before we left. This pool was a lot quieter and would have been perfect for us Senior Citizens. 3. Only Big Dislike we had was the Monday - Wednesday - Friday Landscaper using the loud leaf blowers beneath our windows between 7:30 - 9:00am (now I know why they have been outlawed in San Diego.) 4. Loved all the new kitchen appliances and the well stocked dishware, silverware, etc. 5. Owners were very helpful and answered all questions quickly. 6. When I had trouble hooking up my computer, I called the number suggested and they had my laptop up and working immediately. 7. Glad to see the umbrella in the closet as we needed it the first few days in Maui. 8. We left a few items in the Liquor cabinet to be enjoyed by future guests. 9. Also appreciated the free phone calls.

I stayed in this unit the week before Thanksgiving with my boyfriend and we had an absolutely wonderful time! We stopped off on the way in from the airport and stocked up on food and groceries, and then we were on our way to paradise. The condo itself is well-appointed with a comfortable King sized bed in the bedroom, newly updated bathrooms, well-stocked kitchen, new stainless steel fridge, and flat screen TV's. We also had WIFI in the unit which was very handy! Some days we hung out by the pool which was 3 minutes away... and some days we went down to the beach which is a leisurely 5 minute walk! There were beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards and snorkels to use at the condo. We also enjoyed the peaceful lanai which is where we ate most of our meals. Definitely loved this condo for it's location and also it's nice clean condition! We'll try to come back soon!!!

We had a great time at this unit in Ekahi Village. The location is perfect and the garden view is unsurpassed. The master bedroom is large and comfortable with a very private bath/dressing area. Our trip was made much easier because we didn't have to bring equipment for the baby. The pack and play and booster seat with toys kept the baby and the adults happy. We also enjoyed the beach toys and equipment and the fact that it was a 2 minute walk to the large pool, pavilon and beach. We took advantage of the shops and hotels that are a short walk away and the beautiful sea walk along the ocean front. We hated to leave, Mahalo.

This unit in Ekahi Village is absolutely beautiful. The entire complex is well maintained with gorgeous foliage. We arrived late in the evening and when we walked in my husband said, "Well this is just beautiful!" When we woke up in the morning, we were amazed at the grounds. The view outside the unit is stunning with all of the vibrant colors. We liked the fact that we were off the ocean front so we could enjoy the sounds of the birds. It is a very quiet complex. The unit itself is also very well maintained and has everything a person would need. The owner provided us with excellent directions and it was easy to get to from the airport. He also was so helpful with giving us tips on where to eat and shop. We enjoyed walking down the beach to Five Palms for happy hour. We also enjoyed a dinner at Spago's located in the Four Seasons Hotel. At the recommendation of the owner, we went early to take advantage of their prix fixe. The meal was outstanding as was the view. We did most of our cooking in the unit and Safeway is very convenient for shopping. We had never been to Maui and did alot of sightseeing. At this time of year - late October/early November, we were very pleased that tourism was down, but the weather was still absolutely perfect. We preferred the South Shore beaches the most. If we ever return, we would absoultely stay here again. We were not as impressed with the west side of the island because it was so much more busy and crowded. I have already recommended this property to friends and I hope they are able to visit. I just can't say enough about this unit. We definitely did not want to leave!"
