  This was our second visit to Cabarete and Ocean Dream condo, and it was as wonderful as our first time. We would highly recommend this condo for many reasons. One of them would be it’s great location. It is within walking distance to supermarket, bakery, restaurants, and many shops, as well as a two minute walk to the beach. If you like to go on long walks along the ocean or simply relax and watch kite-surfing, wind-surfing or sailboats, this is definitely the place for you!! There is also a beautiful pool with many loungers where you can relax and read a book or have a nice siesta. The grounds are very well kept and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Our representative was only a phone call or e-mail away and she checked with us periodically to ensure we were having the best vacation possible. We felt very safe and at home in this condo and will be returning again in the near future.

  We’ve been to the Dominican Republic many times and have stayed in a variety of hotels and condos in various locations around the island, but our stay at Casa Larimar in Ocean Dream stands out as one of our best vacation experiences ever! The suite was very clean, nicely furnished, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The terrace, overlooking the pool, was the perfect spot for that first cup of coffee or to sit in the afternoon shade and read a book. We loved that this condo is so close to the beach. My wife and I like to beach-walk and Cabarete beach is perfect for that; it goes on forever... We also really enjoyed the food in Cabarete. The beach restaurants (5 minute walk along the beach) are very good – we liked Voyvoy, but there were also many other restaurants in town that served great food, like the German restaurant, Bayrischer Hof. With the beach right outside your door, and the town just a short walk away, it is not necessary to have a car. This condo is well managed and Sandi is an absolute pleasure to work with – very organized and very helpful.

  il numero 634, 2o piano dell'edificio 106, in un complesso di edifici di appartamenti sulla spiaggia chiamato ocean dream, e' un bell'appartamento spazioso, luminoso, pulito e pieno di dettagli utili (dallo spremiagrumi alle sedioline pieghevoli da spiaggia). la vista anteriore da sulla piscina privata dell'edificio, ben tenuta, pulita, con uso bagno, doccia, sedie a sdraio, tavoli e sedie ed area coperta e sull'edificio di fronte. la vista posteriore da sull'ingresso del complesso, a volte rumoroso. il complesso e' ben ubicato sia per la vita da spiaggia (2 minuti su vialetto interno) che per la vita notturna (ristoranti, bar, locali notturni a pochi minuti a piedi). anche fare rifornimenti per cucinare e' veloce poiche' i negozi alimentari sono a distanza brevissima. l'assistenza dell'agente e' ottima, efficiente e piacevole. non e' necessaria la macchina per muoversi in cabarete, che e' molto piccola e si gira a piedi. solo se si vuole uscire dal paese e' necessario dedicare un certo budget ai trasporti, che se si vogliono sicuri hanno un costo non indifferente. il mare e' sempre molto mosso, il clima ventoso. ottima location per gli sportivi, gli amanti della tranquillita' diurna, della vita notturna, per le famiglie con bambini piccoli. per i bambini tra i 5-12 anni potrebbe essere difficile trovare qualcosa da fare oltre alle passeggiate in spiaggia, i tuffi in piscina e la visita agli innumerevoli negoziati di souvenirs. l'appartamento e' al secondo piano senza ascensore, da tenere in considerazione quando si viaggia con bimbi piccoli e anziani o disabili motori. i bagni non hanno vasca ma solo doccia. ci sono zanzariere a tutte le finestre. l' aria condizionata nella stanza con i letti gemelli e' rumorosa, le altre sono perfette. in salotto c'e' una tv con dvd player, nella stanza matrimoniale c'e una tv. in cucina ci sono lavastoviglie, forno a microonde, bollitore, mixer, grande frigorifero e macchina dispenser di acqua fredda di bottiglia, gentilmente offerta agli ospiti. la connessione a internet e' veloce e gratuita. vicinissima al complesso e' un bar/caffe'/panetteria delizioso chiamato german bakery.

  We absolutely loved this condo in Cabarete. The condo complex is gorgeous - beautiful buildings and landscaping. The condo itself is beautifully decorated, well supplied with everything you could need, and very comfortable. We loved the balcony and pool. The beach is wide, clean, secure, and quite close. I wasn't expecting the beach restaurants to really be a 5-8 minute walk away, but they are! You can see them from Ocean Dream. There is also a great Japanese sushi restaurant and a casual Mexican place right at the entrance to the condo. We really loved everything about this condo- location, price, interior, complex. The manager was flexible, helpful, and friendly. Will recommend this place to all my friends.

  We travel frequently to the DR and always enjoy staying in this condo when our friend's condo is not available. It is very clean and well maintained. This condo is about a 1/2 city block to the beach, has plenty of parking and is within walking distance of the main area of Cabarete. You can get to the restaurants, bars, and shops either by walking along the beach or walking along the street. You don't really need to rent a car. We would definitely recommend this condo.

  Wow, what a great place to stay and enjoy beautiful Cabarete Beach! My wife and I spent almost a week at this super third floor condo in the Ocean Dream community. The place is super clean, convenient, and comfortable! The staff, from the security gate attendant, to the gardener, were all very helpful and friendly. The pool is wonderful and a great place to clean off and cool down after a walk/run on the beach or a vigorous ocean swim. The third floor location provides lots of privacy and great views of the pool area and well manicured gardens (including a birds eye level palm frond experience!). Many spectacular restaurants and other culinary options are within an easy 5 or 10 minute walk. We sampled many fine locations, and dined on great Italian, Japanese, Dominican, and German fare. For the more adventurous, there's delicious grilled whole chickens right across the street, and local Dominican delicacies on the beach, especially during the Easter celebration (Samana Santa)! The beach area, just a few minutes walking to the east, is chock full of great restaurants where one can eat indoors or out! We highly recommend this condo and are sure that you're stay will be as relaxing and enjoyable as ours was!

  I would strongly recommend for anyone to stay at this Ocean Dream property! I work in the service industry and travel extensively. The apartment is very comfortable with great amenities and close location to the beach. The whole vacation was made all the much more enjoyable with the wonderful help and information provided by the property Manager Sandi who took great care of us. Enjoy your stay!!!

  I've been to Cabarete many times over the past few years and I got to stay in many condos, houses and hotels. This one is in my top 3 hands down. It's perfectly located (beach is 50 yards away), beautifully decorated and has everything you can possibly need. Add to it the fact that Sandi is a pleasure to deal with and you have a winning combination. I'll repeat for sure and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stress free vacation.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  Casa Larimar is the perfect combination of relaxation and convenience. The condo itself has a very comfortable feel and reminds one of a tropical home away from home. With every amenity a person could need, comfortable living space and bedrooms, and a beautiful third floor balcony that overlooks a crystal clear pool. Surrounded by picturesque palm trees and beautiful landscaping, ones mind can drift away poolside while hearing the crash of surf just a stones throw away. A minute walk to Cabarete beach provides access to dozens of beachside restaurants that all offer unique flavors and specialties. The beautiful blue ocean meets a gorgeous blue skyline accented with kitesurfers, windsurfers, and tan beach bodies. We could not have asked for more from our stay. Sandi was very helpful and provided anything we needed. The ocean dream complex employees were very pleasant and great to practice my spanish with. They also take their job very seriously which made us feel comfortable and secure. Casa Larimar at Ocean Dream would be great for anyone whether families with small children, couples or adventure-seekers of any age.
