Get up each morning to a spectacular sunrise over the lake - perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or breakfast on the deck. This home is located in a quiet residential resort neighborhood of similar upscale lakeside homes. Ideal for your extended family vacations each year, the home is surrounded by towering maples and lush landscaping and has a large private yard for gatherings as well as a sandy beach and boat dock. If you are not in for an afternoon of fishing, boating, swimming or skiing on the lake, just take the paddleboat out for more relaxed enjoyment.
The house is very spacious and comfortable with two large living areas, both with fireplaces and cable TV, DVD/VCR, and games are available for the kids for those rainy days or after a long day exploring the area. Sixteen people can be accommodated in this home with 4 private bedrooms and with additional sleeping in the lower level family room area; there are also three bathrooms. The home contains a large fully-equipped sunny kitchen, outdoor patio, deck, furniture for dining and relaxing, and glider and firepit on the lawn, as well as a sandy beach area for the toddlers to play.
The upper living area contains a massive stone fireplace and this room leads out onto the deck and overlooks the lake.
The peninsula is a quiet, safe, beautiful area for biking and walking with lake views in every direction. Tennis and basketball courts are just across the street and the boat launch is two houses away. There is so much to do and see in the Traverse City Area, but you may not want to leave this home. We are open all year, so bring your group up for fall color tour and winter ski weekends as well. The size kitchen and coziness of the living room fireplace in the winter also makes this home ideal for Thanksgiving or Christmas weeks away with the family. Friday to Friday rental.
