Great girlfriend weekend getaway

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful time in this beautiful, tropical home! Karen was such a delight to work with and was SO responsive with all of our needs from beginning to end. There was such attention to detail in the decor, it truly made us feel like we were staying at a Zen-like Spa. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We especially loved the rolled up washcloths in the bathrooms! We had just the right amount of privacy with the bedrooms being in the four corners of the home, as well as, plenty of common area to relax and socialize. We loved the jacuzzi, the outdoor deck and the salt water pool. The lushness of the landscaping was so amazing...we totally forgot we were in the middle of the Desert. We were able to take a few walks around the neighborhood to get some exercise so we didn't feel so bad about lounging by the pool all day. The home was so relaxing and nice, we totally nixed our plans to go out to dinner so we could stay in and cook dinner and just enjoy the home. The BBQ was awesome...my husband would be jealous if he knew what I was using to grill our steaks. I highly recommend this home...stop your looking and book this home...you'll be glad that you did!

my girls planned a weekend away and didn't give me any details of where we were going/doing other than "we have an amazing house in palm desert"... "amazing" doesn't begin to describe this house. it is luxurious, secluded (or at least it feels that way), clean, spacious, and so much more incredible than anything i tried to imagine. even the bedding and towels were notably fantastic. it was the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend away with my closest girlfriends. i'm hoping this becomes an annual event, and i've already talked to my family about returning with them.

Amazing house

My family and I rented this house over XMAS. It was perfect for a large family with a child of 3. Karen was wonderful and answered any questions we had. Totally would recommend this for a great vacation. House is beautiful.

Perfect weekend away

This is the perfect place for a relaxing, peaceful getaway. Beautiful and interesting decor with thoughtful touches for guests throughout. Had a wonderful girls' weekend and have already recommended the property. Karen was very accommodating and available for questions during the entire process. Tropical Garden is accurate

House is well appointed with sleeping areas on opposite sides of kitchen/living area giving all guests great privacy. Beds are very comfortable. The highlight for us was the lush greenery and salt water pool isolated from the sights and sounds of the outside world. I am sensitive to chlorine and so the salt water pool was perfect. It truly seemed like we were in an isolated tropical garden. We felt very much at home and did quite a bit of cooking--eating breakfast outside under the shaded lanai was pefect. Owner was very helpful and responsive. Deposit was returned in less than a week. Don't miss the Living Desert just a few miles away. You will be amazed at the diversity of animals in open natural settings.

Relaxing weekend getaway

I would defintley recommend this property to a friend! The grounds are very private and there is lots of shade. The location is great because it's close to many shops and restaurants. The beds were soooo comfortable. The owner, Karen made the whole process very easy and returned our deposit promptly!!

Very relaxing property

Wonderfully relaxing and private escape. The property has so many wonderful areas to relax - poolside, shade side, or sunning on the lawn. We utilized the pool, barbecue and kitchen to prepare wonderful meals so we never had to leave, although some of us did enjoy an early morning walk to window shop on El Paseo. Most of us spent our day in or around the pool. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a retreat.

Perfect Vacation House

Eight guys from all over the country met for a golf vacation in Palm Springs. The house was the PERFECT location and in retrospect the only place to stay. The house is spacious with plenty of rooms, TV's, sitting areas, etc. We can't wait to return in the future! If you planning a girls get away this is the ideal retreat. The pool and spa are perfect, and the special tiki hut is a nice touch. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful getaway weekend and thoroughly loved the house and the amazing landscaping. I would definitely look to go back again and stay here rather than hotels and other houses we have stayed at. The house has everything setup perfectly in a way that makes the stay memorable and extremley relaxed. We are so greatful our friends told us about it. Highly recommend staying here.

Paradise in California

This was my 2nd stay at this property and again was 100% perfect! We came with another couple and we each have a daughter (2&3yrs old) and it was so nice for everyone to have their own room and even separate sides of the house! The layout is great, the rooms are clean, and the attention to detail is divine! The beds are SO comfortable (so comfortable that my husband insisted we purchase the same bed for our home, and we did). The house has everything you need and more. The owner has detailed directions for ANYTHING you can think of. The yard is phenomenal, the pool is so clean and a perfect size. The large trees all around the property make you feel like you are in the oasis in the middle of no where, and also feels about 10 degrees cooler with all the shade. Yet everything you need is just right around the corner! We loved it and will DEFINITELY stay here for years to come!

Where to even begin....

I can not say enough wonderful things about this home and its owner, Karen. My experience before even arriving was enjoyable - Karen clearly and quickly communicated about the house with me, answering any questions I had. The pictures online here do not even do this place justice. It is beyond breathtaking - a pristine, zen-like retreat where every detail has been thought of. We hosted a group of women in the home who had not gotten to be together in many years. The entire weekend was spent floating in the incredible saltwater pool, napping on the beautiful and comfortable teak lounges and cooking in the completely equipped chef's kitchen. I can not stress enough how well set-up this home is. We had our meals outside on the picnic table on beautiful serving dishes, sufficient towels for everyone, state-of-the-art stereo set-up... I could go on and on. Even the huge wrap-around deck served it's purpose, with room enough for 5 of the women to do morning yoga. The sheets are of the highest quality, there are wine glasses enough for all, and it even comes with pool floats if you didn't bring your own (which we did, but still used some of the ones provided!). We did not leave this house for 4 days and it was the most relaxing vacation anyone could remember having. The property is so densely landscaped that you could be at a resort in Costa Rica and private enough to sunbathe as you please. ;) The best treat of all was Karen's promptness in returning my security deposit 3 days after leaving the home. It was the easiest vacation home I have ever rented. This home is a hidden gem that I secretly hope too many people don't find out about, or it will be booked year-round. I sincerely recommend stopping your search and just renting this house. It's incredible.
