This house was equiped first class all the way. We took a guided striper fishing trip nearby and drove up the coast. The house is out of town, but has a terrific view. All kitchen supplies left nothing to be desired.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing.

Quiet, Quiet, Quiet - Relaxing, Relaxing, Relaxing -- River Wind was all that and so much more. The pictures certainly do not do it justice and it has everything you could possibly need or want. Loved the location -- convenient to everything. The house is the PERFECT get-a-way whether for a week or a long weekend. We will definitely being staying at River Wind again!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Our family stayed at this beautiful home for a week in July. I can't say enough about how wonderful this home is. The pictures don't do it justice. The house was immaculate and spacious. The furnishings were very nice and comfortable. The entire house was well decorated. Kitchen was fantastic and had everything you could possibly need. There was also a top end grill in the porch which we enjoyed using. The dining area was very nice and has plenty of seating. The laundry facilities were also excellent. The master bedroom was absolutely fantastic - very large, comfortable, and the view of the river was breathtaking. The master bath was also very large and had everything you could possibly want or need. This home and it's grounds were extremely well maintained. If you want a very quite, peaceful vacation, this is the place to stay. Magnificent views from every room in the house. We enjoyed going to the botanical gardens, a puffin watch and exploring the Boothbay Harbor area I would highly recommend this house. You won't be disappointed if you choose River Wind for your vacation.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing.
Owner response: This has been our first season and we spent the winter planning and preparing for "River Wind" opening. Also helpful was our several trips using VRBO accomodations.
