This home, with its spectacular views of Lake Tahoe and surrounding mountains and serene setting, is a perfect place for time away from home. It's close to all of the South Lake amenities and great skiing, but also tucked away and quiet, so that you feel like you have Lake Tahoe pretty much to yourself. We visited in winter, but it's clear that this property would be great for a summer stay also, with a sandy beach and protected cover right out the door. The house is well-appointed, very comfortable, and the view is amazing.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Nothing compares to views and setting this house offers from virtually every vantage point. A beautifully built home with plentiful bedrooms, bathrooms, well-stocked kitchen, etc., this house feels like you are staying in a lovingly cared-for home, and not just a generic vacation rental. Truly a special place, with more than enough space for large dinner gatherings and outdoor fun on the lake. Great walking trails right out the front door too, can't wait to go back.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Spacious yet comfortable. Private nooks yet conducive to gathering. Tranquil yet close to town. This lovely house offered our group options all along the continuum. It was as easy to ski as it was to lounge on the beach. We ate out one night and cooked in the fully outfitted kitchen another evening. From every room, we soaked in the views from sunrise to sunset to starry night. What a joy to stand on the deck and gaze at the private, protected beach below and over the cerulean water to the mountains in the distance! This clean, comfortable house is warm and embracing. Its adornments hint at a rich and contagious history of love and laughter. It was the perfect place for our bunch of college friends to reunite, and it would work just as well as a refuge for couples, children, and extended family. We’ll be back!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Outstanding vacation home. Right on the lake. Unbelievable views of the lake, sunrise, and sunset. The room layout allows for numerous occupants with some privacy. Dwelling is well maintained and very clean when we arrived. Kitchen is well supplied with necessary cooking gear. The location is near all types of recreation and entertainment. This is an incredible property!! We were looking for a kick back weekend location and this was it!!! The view from the house is amazing as you are right on the water and can see south, north and west shores without moving. Every room takes in the view of the lake. Mt. Talac at sunrise and sunset was gorgeous! This house is large enough that many people can be together and still have individual privacy. It is spacious, beautifully furnished, immaculate and centrally located. The beach is right out the front door, literally, and the Elk Point Private Beach also connects up with the public beach, so you can walk for miles on the sand. Snowshoeing on the Tahoe Rim Trail is easy and more great views of the lake. Grocery store is very close, but if you choose to eat out, Edgewood and the local Italian place are close and delicious. And if you want to see a show, that is less than 15 minutes away. Hard to descirbe this property in words - it is amazing and you will love it!
