The Hideaway Cottage: Elegance and quality abound in this splendid four bedroom, five bath Rosemary Beach home. With carriage house, it can expand to five bedrooms. Centrally located on the preferred south side of 30A and at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, the Hideaway Cottage with its Charleston side-yard architecture are featured in the official book on Rosemary Beach .
We also own the Madison Cottage (VRBO # 436722), which offers Gulf Views!
The boardwalk to beach access 'E' runs right by our west-side gate. Just an easy 2 minute walk to both the Eastern and Western Gulf Greens. The heated Coquina Pool is just a 1.5 minute walk. We have easy proximity to the fitness center, tennis courts, children's playground, restaurants and shopping. The main house comfortably sleeps nine (11 max) and the carriage house (VRBO #397785) sleeps two (3-4 max).
First Floor Summary: Main living room, dining room, kitchen, bar area with ice-maker, bedroom (queen) with private bathroom. Enter the 'mud room' (beach clean-up shower) from a Rosemary Beach boardwalk route.
Second Floor Summary: Three bedrooms, all with private bathrooms. Centrally located second living room with queen sleep sofa and TV. Two large outdoor porches overlooking the courtyard with comfortable outdoor couches and chairs.
As you enter through the main gate, you’ll find yourself in a shaded large courtyard which embraces the entire front side of the house. The private boardwalk leads to either of two porches, with comfortable outdoor seating and large teak picnic table.
Step inside and you’ll notice Venetian plaster walls, fine hardwood floors, built-in cabinetry, and abundant trim throughout the decorator furnished living and dining rooms. The fully-equipped kitchen has a counter bar for three, granite counters, stainless appliances, and a separate wine bar with ice maker.
Adjacent is the wood-ceiling dining room and large living room with HDTV. When returning from the beach, a back door leads directly into a mudroom and full bathroom, where you can shower and hang suits and towels. This quality home also features high ceilings, five-foot windows, and solid wood doors.
The main level of the home also has a bedroom with queen-size bed, full bathroom, walk-in closet, and new TV (all TV's are flat-screen). There are three bedrooms upstairs: a large master bedroom with king-size bed, double-sink bath, large closet, private outdoor porch and new 40' TV and DVD player; a second master bedroom with king-size bed, bathroom, walk-in closet, and new TV; and, a bunk bedroom (full mattress on bottom, twin mattress on top) with bath and new TV.
The upstairs features its own central living room with new queen size sleeper sofa, armchair, toys, and flat screen TV with DVD player. A closet contains a brand new, full-size washer and dryer. The house is child-friendly with baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs, 2 high chairs, two 'pack-n-play' cribs, games, toys, DVDs and puzzles.
The carriage house has a nautical theme and serves as the fifth bedroom. The studio floorplan has a separate entrance and includes a full bathroom, seating area with new full-size sleep sofa, a queen-size Murphy bed (with new mattress), new TV, complete kitchen and use of a washer and dryer in the garage.
In the garage, you will find an additional washer and dryer, adult and kid's bikes, boogie boards, rafts, sand toys and beach chairs.

Hideaway Cottage is fantastic. The description and photos accurately reflect the property. The owners have spent a lot of time to provide a worry free property. They have provided a fantastic living space and try to provide you everything you need. I could arrive at this location with minimal luggage and have everything you need. When you typically read that "towel", "beach chairs", "grill", etc are provided, you are often disappointed, not here. I love that they have provided labels on everything so that you can easily locate items and know how to work everything from the light switches to washer/dryer. This property is clean and well maintained. Perfect location. We rented the Carriage House as well, it is equally as nice as the main house. Highly recommend (just not the same week I want to rent). Very close to beach, pool, shops, restaurants (this means short walk at a max). Most people will bike everywhere. Property does a nice job of keeping "guest / owners only" on the property. Beaches are not crowded and beautiful. Glad to have found this location. Real Estate agent is very easy to work with and met us personally upon our arrival. Class act.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had a superb time in this spacious and very comfortable home. The layout of the common areas was great for our group of 10 adults and 3 babies. The best part was how well equipped the house was. Everything from baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs, to 10 beach chairs, to toys, bikes, and a bike trailer to haul the babies around! We had a fabulous time and will most certainly keep this house in mind for future vacations!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

This spacious rental home and carriage house in Rosemary Beach easily accommodated our two vacationing families (8 people in total) with room to spare. It is well-located on the beach-side of 30A with an easy walk right to the beach using the walkway right outside the door, and it is very close to the Sugar Shack, Town Center, restaurants, bike rental, shopping, etc. Perfect for adults and kids of all ages. Spacious private courtyard with a nice gas grill. The interior layout is wonderful with an easy flow throughout, including a downstairs 'main floor' kitchen that is wide open to the main living area. The appointments are lovely -- warm and friendly throughout. Everything was clean, comfortable and well-maintained, including the bedding and linens. We especially appreciated the attention to detail in the kitchen which lacked for nothing. It included plenty of dishes, pots, pans, ovenware, serving bowls, cutting boards, knives, utensils, glassware, silverware, etc, etc. We WILL book here again upon return to Rosemary Beach. Thank you for sharing your wonderful beach home!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Our family spent Spring Break at this sparkling clean, spacious & very attractive cottage -it was perfect! We had all the creature comforts available and had plenty of room for my family, even with three kids (fully equipped even with two children under age two) and some extended family. It is a great location (yet also surprisingly private) to everything you would love to do at Rosemary-we will be staying there again soon in the future and would recommend to anyone. The owner/management was always available and helpful if I had any questions as a first timer to Rosemary. It was a beautiful vacation!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
