WELCOME to Tropic Winds, a wonderful new beachfront condo located in the highly desirable west Panama City Beach area, less than 5 minutes away from the spectacular, new Pier Park complex. This condo contains just 164 quality units on 23 floors, with assigned covered parking on the 3rd floor of the building, waiting just for you. A few steps to the elevator and you will transport to a gorgeous home away from home on the 9th floor.
THE CONDO: Unlock the door using the convenient key pad (no lost keys) and you have arrived. The colors of turquoise and azure blue reflect the oceanview which beckons you onto the large balcony, fully furnished with comfortable cushioned furniture. Now, relax for a moment and catch your breath as you are eveloped in the natural beauty of the sugar-white sand, crystal-clear water, and seemingly an endless quiet beach below.
Sunsets from your large (10'X28') covered balcony are amazing. There is a dining table with lamp and a conversation grouping with cocktail table with solar lights, . Between two chaise lounges is a side table with a built-in ice bucket for chilling your favorite beverage.
Step back through the floor-to-ceiling glass doors to tour this exceptional condo. It is new, completed in 2012 with upgrades throughout. The living area is fully tiled and the accent rugs reflect the designer's details. The furniture is rich dark wood with inlaid art glass. You are invited to sink into the plush couch or loveseat, turn on the 47' HDTV with DVD, or put your ipod in the player and relax.
The master suite also has huge glass door/windows to your balcony. You can wake up in the morning in the plush pillowtop king size bed and visually enjoy the ocean and sky before stepping a foot on the thick carpet. Or simply pull back the custom made blackout drapes and drift back to sleep, lulled by the sound of rolling waves. On top of the large dresser is your personal 40' HDTV and DVD. Walk into the ensuite private master bath with granite countertop and pedistal wash basin. There is matching custom tile work surrounding the mirror and tub.
In the dining area is a large rectangular dining table with inlaid art glass. You can dine here in style, or snack at the granite bar on one of four comfortable barstools. The bar overlooks the gorgeous kitchen with custom finished granite countertops, upgraded stainless steel appliances and tile backsplash, highlighted by under-the-counter lighting. You are well-equipped to serve a gourmet meal here with all the extra countertop appliances, cookware and serving pieces.
The second bedroom is equally luxurious with two pillowtop queen size beds, along with a 32' HDTV and DVD. Enter the bath through the private door and you will appreciate the same upscale details as the master bath.
Throughout the condo are original signed oil and watercolor paintings and custom accessories. Much of the art is abstract seacapes which reflect the sophisticated seaside atmosphere of this condo. All lighting and fans have been upgraded, and there are extra lamps throughout for setting a relaxing mood in the evening. Welcome to your own private paradise.

THE AREA: Just down the street is Pier Park, a new 900,000 sq.ft. open air complex that is the largest shopping and entertainment venue in northwest Florida. It has many favorite restaurants and national chain stores. There are convenient landscaped walking paths, a park for concerts and festivals, an amusement park for children, and The Grand Theatre containing 16 movie sceens with stadium style seating, IMAX and 3-D.
Just up the road is Frank Brown Park, a 200 acre recreational center with baseball fields, playgrounds, picnic areas and an aquatic center. Closeby are many golf courses, deep sea fishing boats, restaurants, and rental stores for bicycles, motorbikes and street beach-buggies. For the kids there are water parks, go-cart tracks, and minature golf courses, plus much more. Destin, Sandestin, and scenic Highway 30-A are an easy 20-30 minute drive.

Absolutely lovely condo - Outside of the fabulous furnishings, the condo is loaded with everything you could possibly need, except for food itself. Just wanted to thank the owners for the extra steps they take to provide all the comforts of home to their guests...I feel truly lucky to have chosen this condo for our vaca :-)Did you find this review helpful? This is a wonderful condo. We have rented many condos/houses on the beach and this is by far the nicest condo! We felt right at home right away. Very clean and the beds are so comfortable!! We had a wonderful time. Patricia is wonderful to work with. The complex is very nice. We hope to rent this condo again in the future!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

We will recommend this condo to all of our friends and relatives. The beach front view off the balcony was great we saw dolfphins and sting rays our first morning. This was the most enjoyable condo I have ever stayed at in Panama City! I love that it is on the quiter side of PC, yet still close to everything. Nearby you will find shopping, dining, art and more! The 9th floor is perfect, not too high, not too low! Its interior is beautiful with obvious attention to detail. Its original artwork and upscale decor make it feel more like a home than a typical beach condo. We will come back forever!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

My family spend a much needed Fall vacation here. We have been to PCB many times in the last 20 years. This was the best condo we have stayed in. It is quiet and perfect for the family with older children. The 2 bathrooms is a must for our family. We have never stayed in the same place twice but plan on returning to this condo on our next vacation.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

This condo was awesome! It is definitley for the discriminating vacationer!! Decorated with upscale elegance and loving care. Everything you could possibly want in a beautiful & comfortable vacation home. Very clean & brand new. The owners have thought of everything! Full view of the beautiful beach. The building was also nice & not too crowded. Pier Park just down the street...very convenient. If you are lucky enough to get this unit you will NOT be disappointed!!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

In my 30 years of traveling, I have never stayed at a better appointed rental condo. It was like being at home on the beach. Every thing is upscale, and nothing was lacking. From the original artwork, the solar lights on the deck, the linens, and the furnishings, you could tell that much time, money and love was put into the unit. And almost everything you could need for the beach was available on the deck. I am already planning a return trip because I know I can find nothing better anywhere in the area. If you are tired of beach "tacky" you owe it to yourself to stay at this beautiful unit.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

About the owner: Ron and Neely retired in the Atlanta area about 5 years ago and enjoy travel and vacations. The beaches are our favorite place to visit, which led us to purchase our condo in PCB. We've been busy with the condo upgrades and decorating, getting it ready for you. Our passion is art, painting in oil,watercolor and acrylic and creating custom pottery. You will see some of our work when you share our special place at Tropic Winds.

Northwest Florida has been a vacation spot for both of us all our lives. We have followed the development and spent lots of time looking for the perfect spot for us. We have found the West PCB area to be the a great location for us because it is close to many fine restaurants, lots of shopping and activites while being quieter and less crowded than other parts of PCB.

We love long walks along the beach, playing in the surf and relaxing in the hot tub. Our favorite time of day is sunset with a glass of wine on our beautiful balcony- it is amazing. We have met special friends in the area and always look forward to sharing great meals and music at the many places for nightlife in PCB. For us it is the most relaxing place in the world.
