This recently-renovated spacious beachfront bungalow has everything to make your stay memorable & fun! Centrally located & within walking distance to all Island shops & restaurants. Enjoy fabulous views of the Gulf from newly-expanded covered and open decks. If you are staying in, you will enjoy multiple TVs/DVDs/VCRs & CD player. High chair, porta-crib and baby gates provided. All bedrooms have private baths with hairdryers.
The best thing about the house is its location. Of course it is beachfront, but it is also right next to the park which has a playground, a basketball court, and picnic area and it is within walking distance of all of the shops and restaurants. There is a boardwalk to the beach.
The house has free wi-fi and premium cable channels and there is a movie-rental kiosk just steps away. The game closet is filled with fun games, puzzles and books.
The king sized master bed with its morning view of the sunrise is extremely comfortable as is the queen sized bed on the top level. Both bedrooms have a view of the ocean. The third bedroom down the hall from the master has twin beds. There are ceiling fans in every bedroom. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom with hairdryers and extra towel racks.
Linens, towels and dishtowels are provided. Bath soap, dish detergent, hand soap, paper towels and toilet tissue are provided as well.
If anything goes wrong during your stay, the management company will send someone out to fix it. Each guest is provided with a code to unlock the door during their stay so there are no keys to lose.
The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and serving. Lots of glasses, plates, flatware, knives, can & bottle openers, cookware, pitchers, a mixer, a coffee maker, a toaster and a microwave. There is also a grilling area beside the boardwalk to the beach. There are at least two trucks on the island selling seafood that is great for grilling.
The house is pet-friendly and kid-friendly. We provide baby gates to keep your kids/pets off of the stairs as well as a high chair and baby crib.
This house is perfectly situated to make your vacation perfect!

There are two grocery stores within walking distance, a small grocery store in Eastpoint, and two larger grocery stores in Apalachicola (20 minute drive).
The nearest airports are Tallahassee and Panama City (both 80 miles).
Boats, Jet Skis, Bicycles, Golf Carts, etc. are available for rent nearby.
Check In time is 4:00PM, Check Out time is 10:00AM. After hours arrival can be arranged.
Payment Policy: Within 10 days of booking, reservations made in advance require 25% of the total rent due to confirm your reservation. A second payment of 25% is due 90 days prior to arrival with the final balance due 30 days prior to arrival. For last minute reservations made less than 45 days prior to arrival, full payment is due within 48 hours of booking. Personal check, money order, cashier's check, web check are acceptable forms of payment. Visa/Mastercard/Discover are accepted with an added convenience fee.

Okay, admittedly we are biased because we just bought this place, but we really love it! We got to spend 3 weeks here in December because we were having the floors tiled and the deck expanded so we had plenty of time to figure out what it needs to make it more comfortable. We spent lots of money at Wal-Mart, Target, Home Depot, Lowe’s and the Local Hardware store and we think we’ve got it in great shape for our renters (and, hopefully ourselves again soon).Did you find this review helpful? Why Gulf Beaches:
St. George Island is a haven for families with pets. Almost everyone you encounter has a dog and they will all stop to pet yours. Other activities on the island besides petting dogs, are kayaking (with the dolphins), bicycling, running, walking, swimming, sailing and fishing. There are rental places for all kinds of sporting equipment and guides who will take you on excursions.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our favorite weekly activity is the Thursday evening “Circle of Friends” at the “Some Like It Hotter” spice shop. They provide free appetizers and a venue where locals and tourists can meet and enjoy each other’s company. It is also a pet-friendly event, but watch your Chihuahua, she may get stepped on. It gets pretty crowded.
For entertainment, Eddy Teach’s sometimes has some decent performers. We have caught them on an off night, but even if the music is bad, its still an pretty fun place, and if you like oysters, they have oyster happy hour every afternoon at 3:30PM. Harry A’s is probably our favorite restaurant on the island, although if you really want good food, you’ll want to go to one of the many restaurants in Apalachicola, or “Apalach” as the locals call it. Boss Oyster has some fine crab cakes. There are some really cool quaint little shops in Apalach as well.
