Lübeck, once the Queen of the Hanseatic League, is a charming medieval city easily visited on foot. It is known for its seven church spires. These churches are typically gothic in style and open to visitors. Also of interest are the Rathaus and old town square. The latter hosts the largest Christmas market in Germany in November and December.
Although a relatively small city, Lübeck has numerous points of interest. Among some of these are the churches, Buddenbrook House, Gunter Grass House, Willy Brandt House, the Opera House, the Christmas market, the Trave river, the Holstentor, Salthouses (Salzspeicher) and a number of museums. It is also a short distance away from Travemunde and Timmendorf (15-30 minute drives) where one can enjoy the air and water of the Baltic sea. There are a number of boats offering tours of the area. Lübeck is also known for its quality marzipan.

About: We are retired professionals, who like to travel and experience life as 'locals'. We wish to offer the same possibility for visitors in Lübeck.
Family brought us to Lübeck and we so enjoyed the area that we decided to invest in the family hospitality business. We co-own the building with family members. Our brother is on site and manages the flat and receives guests on our behalf.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
