  We had a fantastic time and the condo had an amazing view and was well appointed. The owners were very accommodating and easy to work with.

  You can't beat the view and location of Honolani. Our corner unit on the sixth floor was at the water's edge. We could see whales and green sea turtles from our lanai, witnessed beautiful sunsets in early evening, and went to sleep with the sound of the waves in the background. This 2 bedroom/2 bath unit is well-furnished and spacious. A major concern is the beach erosion right in front of the complex. We accessed the beach through the condo complex next door. Free parking underground, elevator, grills, and a nice pool were additional highlights. We were in close proximity to great beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, and water activities, but you do need a car regardless of where you stay on Maui. We found that this area was much quieter with less noise and traffic. The Hololani, as with most all condos along this stretch of Kahana, is somewhat dated but the positives certainly outweighed the negatives. Just being so close to the water and having fabulous views was the highlight of our trip.

  We stayed a week in February. It was clean, newly refurbished, very comfortable, and just as advertised. Everything worked, including the wi-fi, stereo, TV, blu-ray player, and coffee grinder. The owner is very responsive. A car was parked in our space one evening. We called the owner, and she called the on-site manager, who left a note and told us where we could park. The car was moved that evening. We spent a lot of time on the balcony looking for sealife. We watched turtles swimming in front of the condo, seeing four at one time! We also watched whales from the condo and on whale watching cruises. With the 180 degree view of the ocean, the condo is wonderful for watching whales. Bring binoculars.

  Really enjoyed our stay - perfect for family of 4. The porches are great and we enjoyed seeing sea turtles and whales daily. The kitchen is well equipped, and the location is convenient. There is no beach right now, and it is a little difficult to get to the beach next door. There is a lot of road noise from the master bedroom, and both bathrooms are due for an upgrade from their standard 70s vintage (tub/shower glass door combo). The pool area is well kept and very nice and warm - really important for young kids in Hawaii. We would stay here again!

  We had a wonderful week with spectacular views from this suite. The unit was very spacious and clean and the perfect setup for us with 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. We could view the whales and dolphins from the beautiful lanai overlooking the ocean. We were short beach towels and the owner promptly had more delivered within a few hours. The location was great for access to Kaanapali and Kapalua beaches. Convenient having stores directly across the street.

  We have stayed at many condos in the West Maui area over the past 20 years. This condo had by far the best ocean views of anyplace we have ever stayed. The condo was perfect for us with the two master bedrooms and two baths. We were vacationing with friends who had just gotten married the previous week so we were all on the honeymoon! The condo was very well equipped and we would highly recommend it.

  We recently had an AWESOME 12 night stay in this condo. The condo was in a great location, was a nice size for a family of 5, has a warm and casual feel, and met all of our expectations. The location right on the water provided for some unsurpassed views (almost felt like you were on the water when you looked out any of the windows) and the ongoing sound of the waves crashing was as calming and relaxing as you can imagine. Most of the large resorts sit back away from the ocean so you would not get this same experience at many of the larger resorts. We spent a lot of time on the large lanai's of which you could see the sunrise over the mountains off the bedroom, while enjoying a beautiful sunset each evening off the main lanai. We ate dinner (which we grilled up on the pool area grills) many nights while watching the sunsets. The location also provided easy access to many other area beaches, resturants, and shopping, while not being set right in the middle of all the hussle and bussle. I would stay in this condo again when we visit Maui and would highly recommend it to others.

  My family and I spent 3 days in Kahana at this wonderful condo in July. The view is absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed eating our breakfast and lunch on the lanai, watching the turtles swimming below us. The unit has been updated with new furnishings, is well stocked and the beds are extra comfy after a fun-filled day at the beach. Our kids spent the day snorkelling, boogie boarding and playing in the waves. We found a great place to go for dinner just up the street at Maui Brewing Co. - food even kids can enjoy. This area of Maui is so beautiful with lots of other great beaches only a short drive away. We will definitely be booking this unit again.

  We just spent 9 full days at this location and had a wonderful time. Our review is very similar to all the others. The location was excellent, clean, updated with beds and tv's... The sunset views were wonderful and was able to walk the beach every morning. There are now 3 turtles that visit. The pool and grills were kpet up every day. Overall this was a great location and $$. I would recommend to anyone going to Maui!!!

  Just returned from a 10-day stay here. I can't sing enough praises about this place. The owner responded to every phone call and email within hours. The condo is wonderful. Everything needed is provided--linens, beach chairs, boogie boards. The 2 bedrooms and 2 baths were perfect and we never slept better on the new beds. The kitchen is fully functional. Our only difficulty was with the TV--couldn't figure out the local channel guide, but the stereo was great. The turtles visited the beach below the lanai everyday! Awesome--hope to return soon.
