  My wife posted a review below but I thought I would as well. We spent 8 nights on Guana Cay and enjoyed every last second of it. The accommodations were amazing. Beautiful sunsets every night while fishing off the dock. Huge deck for BBQ's and lounging in the sun and every luxury inside that you could ask for.... including a margarita machine! The island is a hidden gem. The beaches were amazing as we spent most of the days lounging and playing in the crystal clear waters and enjoying a few cocktails at Nippers and Grabbers. I have been to many spots in the Caribbean and none compare to the beaches of Guana. The island itself is very unique. It can be as quiet as you want it to be and you can enjoy a private secluded week away or as lively as you can make it. We travelled with a group of three single people who were looking for some nightlife and partying and I'm pretty sure we found some! But it was still romantic enough for me and my wife to enjoy as well. The people of the island are so friendly as many of them are frequent visitors. We made many friends and hosted people over to the house for dinners and they even returned the hospitality and invited us for dinners at their house and even to ones yacht in Bakers Bay. Greg, Lori and their three children were on the island the same week we were. They are wonderful people and hosts. We truly appreciated everything they did for us and enjoyed our time spent with them. We look forward to visiting again in the future and when we do we will be contacting the Turton's again. I highly recommend renting one of Greg and Lori's properties on the island. Both properties were top notch and they are extremely accommodating! Cheers, Justin 44

  We just returned from vacation at Seaside (my husband, myself and three friends) and we all loved Seaside! It is exactly as the photos depict, although the view is even nicer in real life! We had the pleasure of meeting Greg and Lori and their children and had a great week getting to know them all! We went fishing from the dock (tuna, yellow tail, etc) and saw many interesting creatures including small sharks, sting-rays and squid from the dock. My husband and I had the upstairs bedroom and it was beautiful and very private with our own full washroom and balcony. Seaside is a great location with easy access to Nippers, Grabbers and Bakers Bay. I highly suggest planning your trip around a Sunday (or two) at Nippers. Bakers Bay (Conch Shack) is great for dinner out! We had the use of a golf cart which made it easier to get around the island. We also checked out Greg`s other house Grandview and will likely try it for our next stay on Guana. We already miss the island and cannot wait to return! Seaside is beautiful and spacious and we will be back! Thanks for everything Greg & Lori :)

  If you truly want an amazing unforgettable vacation, Seaside or Grandview in the Abacos is your place! I was so impressed at how beautiful the house and views are. I had the greatest time snorkeling, lobster hunting, exploring the island, and eating at Bakers Bay. Don't forget to visit Nippers and Grabbers while you are there. Great places for food and sprits. The description and reviews on this page are exactly accurate and not overstated. I highly recommend if anyone wants a trip to the Bahamas that you choose Seaside or Grandview. Greg (the owner) has an amazing wealth of knowledge about how to get 110% out of your vacation at these retreats. He was so helpful and very professional. Everything in both houses, is exceptionally clean, spacious, and in great working order. I can't wait to do it again!! Literally:)

  Guana Cay is one of my favorite places in the Abacos. Seaside offers a fantastic location to all of the island and is a beautiful place to look out over the Sea of Abaco. The amenities were fantastic and clean. Oh, did I mention that it offers access to the most beautiful waters, sunrises, and sunsets. I was invited on a quick weekend trip with friends without an expectation of staying at such a well equipped and spectacular place. I would recommend this setting to anyone!

  I came with a big group of friends and Greg was very accommodating to making it all happen. We stayed in bothnofhis properties on the island and they are both better than expected. We have found a favorite with Sea Side and Grandview. I highly recommend either house if you are coming to the ABACO's !!!!

  This is a fantastic location to just kickback and enjoy the view! The house has a huge back deck overlooking the Sea of Abaco, perfect for nightly sunsets and admiring the various boats that drop anchor offshore. It’s close to virtually everything on the small island and negotiating for the use of the owner’s golf cart makes getting around even easier—and a real value. The local caretaker met us upon arrival, provided a quick tour of the little town, and helped us settle in. It was a wonderful, stress-free vacation property. We look forward to our next visit.

  I have travelled a lot - but this house was special. My wife and kids loved the tranquile, extremely beautiful surroundings. Loved the dive shop (Troy's dive shop). I plan to revisit this place next year and learn to scuba with him. The house is so spacious (3 bedrooms and bath), well lit naturally. Baker's Bay is an awesome place and has been visited by many celebrities. Highly recommend this 5 star place.
