  Making an online reservation with anyone other than a hotel made me uneasy (considering the many online frauds that go on). However, I am glad I chose this place for my family stay in PR. It was my husband and I, and our 3yr old son. It was a very clean place and exactly how it looks in the photos. Great for families on a budget. We personally didn't want to spend much money in a room since we were going to be traveling all around PR during our stay, and only coming home to sleep and shower. I liked the fact that it included pots, pans, dishes and silverware, extra linen, and ACs and several fans (which was a big plus!). There was a washer (no dryer unfortunately) so we didn't return home with dirty laundry thankfully. And if there was anything that we may have needed Phil (Monty's assistant) was attentive and responded rather quickly. I didn't get to meet Monty unfortunately since he was away during our stay, but the times we spoke on the phone, email and text he was very kind and responded to any concerns. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future. Thank you Monty & Phil.

  I really enjoyed staying at this house. Very quiet and accessible neighborhood. House is very clean and well maintained. I arrived early to PR and i went to the house to see where it was located and there was Monty. Very kind and toured me around the house. My kids liked it so much that they want to stay there again whenever we go back to PR. I definitely recommend this place to anyone. Thank you very much Monty!!

  This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood with a great fruit stand just a couple of blocks away. It was clean and very comfortable for my family of five. We stayed here for a week and I have no complaints whatsoever! Monty was wonderful to work with. He even arranged for us to stay in a back apartment on the first night because this unit was not available. He was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is close to Old San Juan, the airport, El Yunque and the beaches. Thank you, Monty!

  Overall, the experience was good. There were some minor issues but we barely stayed at house since we were enjoying great Puerto Rico. Pros: This was excellent for the price. It was located in a great area and close to everything. It had wifi which was great when we could get the phones to work and AC worked magic. Some cons were: the back yard was not good at all (the pics were not a good replication of what it really was), It was more a storage and laundry area. We didn't have sheets for the pull out bed so we used one from the room, shower didn't work first night but it was fixed immediately however there wasn't alot of water pressure (might be a luxury I am used to in NYC). There are also cats (I believe 2) they drove us crazy trying to come in the house because most of the girls didn't like cats and one of the girls was allergic. But overall we enjoyed our stay. If you want to rent a place that is within your budget, close to everything, in a quiet neighborhood, then this is a great place to rent. Monty was great to work with. I do think that the house should be updated and more modern. That would put it above most rental properties. I would rent this house again.

Yes the back yard was a mess for a couple of days as we were doing some remodeling in another apt. There is only one cat on the property and does not go in the apts. The cat does go buy some apts and beg for food. but we feed him daily. He keeps wild animals off the property. Including iguanas. One of the other girls gave us a great review. Since then we have completly cleaned up and improved the back yard and Laundy area. Hope to see you again Jennifer. thanks monty

  My girlfriends and I were in town for a wedding. We wanted an affordable safe place, near everything and that is exactly what we got. The house is quaint, cute and comfortable. It is really close to the airport, in the town of isla verde. Just a short highway ride from the fun. Great Location and definitely worth it. Monty is great too!!

  This lovely two bedroom apartment is situated in a safe and quiet neighborhood in Carolina. My boys and I enjoyed being just a few minutes from Isla Verde beaches and amenities as well just a short drive to San Juan and El Yunque rain forest. Monty was very easy to work with and very helpful with suggestions to make our stay comfortable and safe. We stayed in the apartment for one month and had no issues any appliances or utilities. Interior is well maintained and pictures are accurate and current. The best part is that for the price and square footage of this apartment - its a great deal!

  I planned a week long stay in PR as a birthday present to my bf, and we were glad that we choose one of Monty's property in Carolina. This house is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood, it's 2 blocks away from a super market, 10 minutes from SJU, and 15 minutes away from downtown San Juan. We love the outdoors, so this location is perfect, we traveled east to the beautiful luquillo beach, drove to el yunque, drove to fajardo to kayak in the bio-luminous bay, flew to calebra for the breath taking flamenco beach, drove to rincon to check out the surfers, and of course enjoyed the sun rise and sun set in the old san juan. The transaction with Monty was easy and smooth. He handed us the keys and gave us a tour to the house upon our arrival, answered any questions we have since it was our first time on the island, and he gave us enough space and privacy through out our entire stay, only to show up right before our departure to collect the keys.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  Monty was very nice, even though I never got to meet him in person. Anthony was also very nice. The apt. is a great size had a few small problems with the AC in the living room and a small leak (one day only, there was a lot of rain) but once I told Anthony or Monty it was fixed. The apt. is located in a nice and safe area of Carolina. Close to many beautiful beaches; Piñones, Carolina, and Isla Verde just to name a few. Great price so you can't go wrong. Will be going back!

  Monty's apt. is a great bargin for the central location it provides. The apt is convenient to the airport,car rentals and groceries. We explored the island and loved it. Monty recommened seeing Culebra a small island and he was right. He also told us about a great place to eat that was close and inexpensive he was right again. This place is a great place to see Puerto Rico!
