  Our family of 4 stayed here in Feb 2013. We've rented many vacation places and usually the end result is that most of them are OK, but there are usually a few things described that don't live up. This place was way more than we expected! Perfectly outfitted for a beach vacation, unbelievable views (we watched whales from the condo patio everyday), super nice people, clean, beautiful pool, etc., etc. The surfing in Punta Mita is about as perfect as it gets with surf breaks for every level. All of these breaks can be seen from the condo so you can time your surfing for when the swell conditions are appropriate. In terms of beginner surfing, I don't think there is a better place in the world a 3 minute walk from the condo. We will absolutely be back... And if you are heading to this area trying to decide between Punta Mita and Sayulita, Punta Mita wins hands down, especially if you have young kids. Sayulita is undoubtedly pretty and has a nice artsy feel, but there is only one surf break and it is CROWDED, very few pools for when the kids are beached-out, and the ocean water quality there in my opinion in questionable.

  We enjoyed a great vacation and would highly recommend this property and the location. It was exactly as described and represented in the photos. We were looking for a place to stay in the P.V. area and picked Punta de Mita from the description of it from this property listing. It turned out to be everything we wanted and expected. We enjoyed the paddleboarding and it was our main recreation focus while we were there. We liked being in a condo and cooking our own meals. We loved enjoying dinner on the patio while watching the surfers, boarders, and keeping a lookout for whales. The pool and hot tub were a great way to relax. The development is clean and well-maintained and the staff is nice and friendly. The town is quiet and has a slow pace. The food was good at the two restaurants we did visit. Be sure to bring a good set of earplugs if you don't like the sound of roosters. There are many on the property boardering the parking lot and the bedroom is on this end of the property. That would be the only downside to our stay.

  We had a very relaxing, romantic, and enjoyable stay. There are several restaurants within minutes. Each evening we decided to try and experience a different restaurant and were very satisfied with the authentic food with the beach front views. Our favorite thing we did was snorkeling. After walking a few minutes towards the beach, we easily found someone to take us out with their boat. We went out to the Marietas islands. The water was very clear and warm and there were many beautiful fish to observe. Some of the most exotic things we saw were an octopus, a couple eels, jellyfish, and rare birds like the blue footed booby. We enjoyed a long walk on the beach and collecting seashells. The condo is very comfortable and has everything you would need (i.e. washer and dryer, stove, microwave, fridge, air conditioning). The tennis court is within the complex and it was fun to enjoy some tennis. From the balcony you have a beautiful view of the ocean and can see the Marietas islands.

  can't beat this great one-bedroom unit! clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, gets great light... no detail was overlooked--has a large desk overlooking the ocean, hooks for a hammock on the porch, bathroom and shower shelves, tons of places to hang wet clothes etc. etc, you can tell the owners took the time to make the place just right. it is on the top floor and one of the only units in the complex that you can actually see all four surf breaks from so you can keep one eye on the surf all the time... and really, really amazing views... set up on the hill just one block up from the ocean. oh and has a great pool too!
