  My wife and I had a wonderful and tranquil stay. Situated on the bay side but within walking distance to the surf side, this beautifully decorated, immaculate bay casa is perfect for so many activities. Sit on the deck or the dock and watch the sun go down. At night watch the lights of barges and fishing boats slip quietly past. It is within a few minutes from the Bolivar Ferry should you want to visit the new Pleasure Pier, stroll The Strand, or dine at Fisherman's Wharf (All Great!). We would highly recommend this location.

  We had an awesome time at your beautiful home! Your accomodiations were perfect, the views were beautiful, the fishing was great! Enjoyed your decks every morning and evenings. Riding the beach in our golfcart and swimming for hours was so relaxing and enjoyable. We had a memorable, relaxing, stress free time! Thank you! If you want to escape the traffic, hotels and crowds of Galveston this is the your answer!

  This is a lovely beach house and had everything necessary for daily living. We had a great time fishing and crabbing off our own pier So convenient! We had four teenagers who loved easy access to the beach. We will definitely be staying here again, can't wait!

  We had such a wonderful time.The house was clean and beautiful.It had everything we needed.We caught flounder, stingray, crokers,crabs, shrimp, sea bass and a bull shark right off the pier.In the ocean my husband caught a hammerhead shark.The ocean was warm and wonderful.I wish we could have stayed longer.We highly recommend staying here.The owner was so nice also.

  My fiance and I had the most amazing time at this beautiful beach cabin and can't wait to be able to stay there again soon! It was everything and more than we expected. The cabin was everything the pictures showed and the fishing was awesome. I caught a stingray which I had never seen before and my fiance caught a 27 inch redfish, along with other fish, right off the dock out back. We would recommend this cabin to anyone interested in a wonderful weekend at the beach, with all the amenities!

  We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect and the property just right. The girls had fun catching fish off the new dock. They had fun swimming and shelling on the beach across the road from the house. The deck was perfect for early morning bay, ship, and bird watching, which I loved. The view is amazing. We ate at the Stingaree, and it was yummy. We did go to Galveston, but I was very happy to get back to the peace of Rollover Bay! This is a delightful find, and the owner very helpful. Thanks for a wonderful escape!

• Great Place to Stay!

  This is an amazing house in an amazing location. We are bird watchers and we could sit on the deck and see skimmers, terns, purple martins, willets, and many more species from the comfort of our deck. And when the wind kicked up, we could still remain outdoors as the deck wraps around the entire house and is always sheltered in at least one spot. Rollover Pass and its incredible array of bird life is only minutes away, and you are right in between access to the Bolivar Penninsula and the Boy Scout Woods/Smith Woods Sanctuaries. The house itself is nothing short of luxurious. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

  We had a WONDERFUL time at the bayhouse! It's absolutely beautiful!! Loved the wrap around porch, was perfect for finding some sunshine and getting shelter from the wind, and having a view of the water the whole time! Love the kitchen and the way the whole house was decorated! A storm blew in the Friday night we got there which I think made fishing not so great but we still had a great, much-needed relaxing weekend. I really hope that we can come back again soon and maybe stay another day or two. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. The house and grounds were very clean. I would def recommend to anyone just wanting to get away and relax. There aren't a lot of activities (restaurants, shops, etc) nearby but there's a lot of water, fishing and sunshine, and peace and quiet- just what I was looking for!

  This is the perfect place for a beautiful, comfortable, getaway. Our family was down there Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the beautiful sunsets and watching ships going up and down the intercoastal waterway. I liked that the deck goes all the way around. The owners were very friendly and helpful with places to eat and things to do. I'd sugguest Stingeree for good food and atmosphere. You're not far from the ferry into Galveston. I enjoyed reading a book or watching TV while the guys went out fishing. Our grandsaon caught a couple of 10lb. reds off the pier.
