Come visit South Carolina's Low Country. Relax and read or build sand castles on Palmetto Dunes (PD) wide beaches. Keep an eye out for the dolphins swimming just off shore. Sit by the pool in the evening and watch the Snowy Egrets as they come to roost just across the golf course. Canoe in Palmetto Dune's lagoon where Great Herons fish or kayak in Broad Creek alongside dolphins.
Our newly re-decorated villa is nestled within Palmetto Dunes about 1/2 mile from the entrance. We are within steps of the pool and about 3 minutes by car to the beach. There are three golf courses and championship tennis right in Palmetto Dunes. Shelter Cove with its shops and restaurants is only a few minutes away on foot, by bike, car or the free "Dune Buggy".
Our villa is our home away from home. You will feel that immediately on entering. The walls of the entrance hall hold pictures from our trips to Alaska and the west. As you walk down the hall toward the living area you are struck by the light and airiness produced by the cathedral ceiling, green house windows and open space.
Walking through the dining area which has a table and chairs for six, you enter the sunken living room with a wet bar, comfortable seating (including a queen size sofa bed), TV, DVD, selection of books and two sets of French doors opening onto a large balcony.
The breakfast room with a small balcony adjoins the fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom has a king size bed, full bath, TV, VCR and French doors to the patio that stretches to the far side of the living room.
The second bed room has twin beds and a bookcase full of choices for beach reading. It is next to the second bathroom. There is also a full sized washer and dryer.
