Tagalong offers something for every taste from it's 18 hole golf course, designed as a replica to the famous St. Andrew's course in Scotland, to it's lake activities and public hiking trails. Red Cedar Lake is one of the best lakes in the area for recreation: fishing, water skiing, boating, bird watching, canoeing and kyaking are a few of the activities one can enjoy. Regardless of the day, one can always find a peaceful spot to anchor on the chain of lakes, which extends for miles.
From the end of September through October you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Blue Hills if you choose to drive the color tours. Just four short miles away is Birchwood, a local treasure, with fun restaurants and bars that give the vacationer a true feel for the local culture. Only a half an hour drive away is Hayward, where you can walk through the Fishing Hall of Fame, treat yourself at the famous sweet shop, Tremblay's, or for the more adventerous, attempt the renowned Birkie Ski / biking trail.

About the owner: My husband, Curt and I both work in public education. We have three small children and we love participating in outdoor activities such as running, biking, water skiing, cross country skiing, and swimming. Being able to participate in these activies at Tagalong is what initially drew us to this location. We purchased the condo with my parents, Tom and Cathy. Tom and Cathy have been realtors in the area for over thirty years. Tom enjoys hunting in the area and Cathy likes spending time with grandchildren.
Why the Owner Chose Birchwood:
My husband, Curt and I got married in 2002 at Tagalong. We fell in love with the natural beauty that Tagalong has to offer, situated at the base of the Blue Hills, next to the Ice Age trail and surrounded by a pristine chain of lakes.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Red Cedar Lake is one of the most desirable lakes to be on in Northwestern Wisconsin. The condo has two decks; the westernly facing deck overlooks the 18th fairway and Red Cedar Lake and the front deck overlooks the 16th tee box. During the weekends in the summer, you can sit on the back deck and listen to the bands playing at the Pumphouse where people gather for cold drinks. There is also an indoor swiming pool and hot tub to relax in if the weather is not cooperating and a fitness room if you're interested in working out.
