Thanks for the boat, it was fabulous. The trip to Goat Island was a big hit. My nephew, 11 year old had great fun.

Beautiful lake and setting - nice home - great value with the boat included!
Beautiful lake and setting - nice home - great value with the boat included!
We enjoyed our stay and the house comfortably accommodated 6 adults and even a 7th guest we had for one night. Beds were comfortable and plenty of linens. Having the boat included is a HUGE plus and makes this place a terrific value. It was a lot of fun to explore the lake and to boat over to the nearby island to swim. Our golden retriever, Mindy had a great vacation too, and it was nice to find a pet friendly place that was clean and with odorless. The porch was one of our favorite spots and we appreciated that there was plenty of comfortable furniture for everyone to sit and take in the beautiful scenery. On a rainy day, we enjoyed exploring the antique shops and restaurants in Milledgeville, which was about a 30-35 minute drive. Thank you Reid family, for sharing your awesome place with us. We're hoping to return next summer!

We had a great time. The house was very clean and the Stan was very helpful he had a answer for all the question we had. His personnality was great. The only thing there was no Internet and our phones didn't work,I like that no phone no problems. We had marvelous time on the boat we caught fish, and had fish and grits for breakfast. We will be returning next year if God say so. Husband and I fell in love all over again(smile) Thank You so much The Lees

My family and I really enjoyed the lake house. We lucked out and had very nice weather. The reason I marked Average for overall rating is because the house needs to update the T.V's if your going to have 3 in the house they should all be able to be watched separately instead of having to be on the same channel in every room. Very disappointing especially when you have kids. Also the living room couch needs to be replaced, very comfortable but it has seen its better days. Cushions were always moving and slipping off ! For the price we paid for the week I would expect this ! On another note Stan is such a great guy, very helpful, caring and all around wonderful . John the owner is also just as great, down to earth and very caring:).

Our family just enjoyed our second stay at this lake house, we will be booking for next year as well! We are a blended family of five and it's hard to make everyone happy BUT everyone loves the lake! We find it more relaxing than the beach and less fussy. We grill, swim, enjoy boat rides, fishing, and quiet family time! The house really has it all. Bring only baithing suits, groceries and sun screen! The house is clean and everything is easy to find. The property manager, who lives a few doors down, is very helpful and friendly. I like finding a good deal and you can't beat the price and all that comes with a stay at the lake. There is not another house on the lake with a boat and great veiw for the cost.

My family and I really enjoyed our week at Lake Sinclair. We absolutely loved the pontoon boat. It was perfect for fishing and just cruising the lake. The house was as pictured and functioned as a lived in home. While there are beds for sleeping 10, three of them are in the same room. This is great when you have kids, but trickier with adults. These double bed in that bedroom wasn't exactly comfortable for two adults. Pots, pans, dishes, towels, etc. we're plentiful. Only glitch was quite small- the can opener was very difficult. Do buy your groceries in town, but bait can be purchased nearby. Stan was very friendly and helpful as was the owner John. Super nice people to work with. The section of the lake where the property is located is perfect for access to the main lake and has deep water. If you are looking for an affordable lake home to visit with family and friends this is a great choice. The inclusion of a boat to use makes it an exceptional choice. If not for the not quite comfy bed, this would be a 5. Seriously, a good choice for us!

What a great place to stay!!! Everything about the listing was very accurate. and the photos depicted the house exactly. The house was nice and the cove where it is located was just beautiful!!! We will definately be going back next year. The water was already warm and spending the extra money for the boat was well worth it and our dog just loved being there as well. The owners and caretaker are extremely nice and were very helpful!!!! Thanks again for sharing your home. I would recommend this to family and friends and we enjoyed eating pizza at the Brick, in Milledgeville.

Owner response: Thanks so much for staying with us and for your nice compliments about our house! We are so glad that you guys had a great time at the lake and enjoyed the use of the pontoon boat! We also enjoyed our conversations with you and your husband! haha! So glad your dog had a great time too, my dog loves the lake and the boat too! I haven't tried The Brick in Milledgeville, but will definitely do that next time we are there! Thanks guys! Connie and John
Awesome!! We went down for a long weekend. My son attended GMC. No complaints at all. Had a blast on the pontoon boat. On Saturday, a number of Coast Guard Families came over for a picnic and loved the house. The couldn't believe we paid less then staying at a hotel. Stan ( the neighbor ) was great. Showed us everything about the boat.

Owner response: I am always so happy to see that folks have a great time at our house, especially from other states! We have some beautiful lakes here in the South and to me, Lake Sinclair is one of the prettiest! So glad you all could have some other families to visit and enjoyed the boat. Thank you for complimenting Stan, he is a wonderful part of our home and we don't know what we would do without him! Please come visit us on Lake Sinclair again!! Thank you, Connie and John

We had a wonderful graduation weekend! The weather was rainy but the porch was warm and inviting. We got to visit with friends and relatives in a relaxing, beautiful and pleasant environment. The house was a very good size with a well equipped kitchen. We would love to come back when we could enjoy the boat and the lake . Plenty of parking too.

Owner response: So glad you guys were able to still have a good time even with the weather not being in your favor! I'm glad you were able to hang out on the porch with family and friends and still enjoy the view of the lake! That is one of the things I really like about our house. The heater out there also really helps in the Fall/Winter. Please come back and see us again! Hopefully the weather will be better next time! Thank you, Connie and John

About the owner: We love our Lake House and the View! We bought this house because we both grew up on a lake and wanted our children to experience all the awesome fun and memories that we have! We hope your family enjoys those same memories!
Why the Owner Chose Lake Sinclair:
The home has a great view and is also very peaceful and private. Lake Sinclair is a wonderful uncrowded lake that always maintains a good water level and the private covered dock is stationary (not a floating dock). We also have wonderful neighbors!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We LOVE the front porch! There is plenty of seating and a large picnic table for eating on the porch! Our yard is very large and great for privacy and kids to play. We also love the swimming area in the lake. The water is calm, warm, and safe for swimming and playing in the water.
