  Awesome!! We went down for a long weekend. My son attended GMC. No complaints at all. Had a blast on the pontoon boat. On Saturday, a number of Coast Guard Families came over for a picnic and loved the house. The couldn't believe we paid less then staying at a hotel. Stan ( the neighbor ) was great. Showed us everything about the boat.

  We had a wonderful graduation weekend! The weather was rainy but the porch was warm and inviting. We got to visit with friends and relatives in a relaxing, beautiful and pleasant environment. The house was a very good size with a well equipped kitchen. We would love to come back when we could enjoy the boat and the lake . Plenty of parking too.

  Thank you so much John and Connie for opening up your home!! We had another excellent long weekend, despite getting lost on the lake on Saturday!! But we had an impromtu tour of Lake Sinclair:):):) We caught lots of fish and got some much needed rest and relaxation. For anyone looking for a beautiful home with all of the amenities, this is the place to be!! And please tell Stan thanks for the rain dance he did that kept the rain away for MOST of our time there!! Thanks again!!

  My wife and I had been looking forward to this 3 days and we were not disappointed. My son had received leave from the Navy and came down from Oceana Naval Air Base in Virgina. This home and the boat really gave us a time with our son that we could not have planned any better. We all caught fish ranging from cats to shellcrackers. The crappie hadn't started schooling yet. I will defintely plan another trip with this rental in the fall. The home is very nice and comfortable and would recommend to anyone that is looking for a relaxing time.

  Our stay was wonderful. The house is absolutely perfect, everything that we expected. We very much enjoyed the pontoon boat. I have nothing but praise for the property. The only thing I wish I had known in advance was that there WAS a gas grill on site - it would have saved valuable packing space in our car as we brought our own, not knowing there was one already there. The only other thing was that only 1 roll of toilet paper was furnished per bathroom, so we had to make a trip to town to buy more. Other than that - PERFECT!!! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

  The place was very nice. Our granddaughters really enjoyed the loft area and time spent on the boat. May want to consider placing a list of the popular TV channels and/or how to use remote for those individuals not familiar with satellite. Also may want to consider updating the pots and pans since the property is fairly remote and since most people eat in especially with small children. There was no WiFi or Internet access which could help promote the place further.

It is ironic you mentioned the pots and pans. My husband had just told me needed new ones and I delivered them out there during Spring Break. (sorry you didn't get to benefit from them) We will put up a note for the remote/tv. As far as the Wifi, unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it, AT&T just simply doesn't offer service out there. (believe me, we have called) I did check our page on VRBO to make sure we had it marked that there is no Wifi and we did. Thanks again for staying with us! John and Connie Reid

  We had a wonderful time on the Lake! The house was very comfortable and met all of our needs. The weather didn't co operate at all, it was freezing!...... but we got on the pontoon boat and fished anyway! Actually caught a nice bass on Sunday and then caught another right off the retaining wall on Monday! Would have been a great weekend for fishing had the sun come out....this year the weather has been crazy everywhere!..Will be planning another trip for sure! The owners were great about communication and the house was everything they presented it to be! Had a great time!

  After reading the reviews I was kinda standoffish, BUT It was Wonderful! We Loved the Lake House the view was fantastic very clean & comfortable much better than a hotel! Wouolod so recommend this to anyone looking to get away! With Plenty of room! Stan & Monica was so welcoming! Their dogs are sooo sweet! It was Cold on the Lake for the 45mins we was out... but it was okay! We took everything with us only left the house once.. being the town in 30 mins away! Thank You So Much it was a wonderful birthday weekend! So looking forward to going back during the summer! Again Thank You!

  House was exactly as advertised. Beautiful property, very nice and friendly people. Weather did not cooperate with us so we could not take the boat out. We will most likely return another time.
