.........The Lewes Beach House is the ideal multi-family destination rental - convenient to everything, yet quiet and peaceful. Located within the DeBraak Preserve on the Delaware Bay, the house is right on the beach and short walks to the trails and fishing pier in Cape Henlopen State Park, as well as the shopping, restaurants, and activities of Downtown Lewes.
Inside this three-story, 3200 square foot house you'll find two master suites, each with a direct view of the bay, and three other well-appointed bedrooms. There are four full and two half baths. The living room is a destination unto itself with a large screen TV, DVD/VCR, and large plush sofas. There is formal dining for eight and additional casual dining for four. The kitchen is well equipped to handle preparation and service of the big family meal, or just the blending-up of some margaritas (blender, ice-maker, and margarita glasses included). Each room has a designer color scheme with coordinated furniture and bed linens - no tacky beach decor, here.
Did we mention the elevator that offers accessibility to the entire house and is really handy when carrying in groceries? The entire house is air-conditioned, of course, but with decks accessible from all the bedrooms, as well as the living room and dining room, you may spend most of your leisure time outside. The kids will enjoy the game room with TV/DVD/VCR, Foosball table and a basket of board games, puzzles, and books which come in handy on a rainy day.
There are two single-car garages and private parking for an additional three vehicles. You'll also appreciate a laundry room with full-size appliances. Just bring bed linens, towels and all your personal items, and you're ready for an incredible family vacation.

4 generations together in one place for a week. It was a wonderful experience. Getting to watch sunrises and sunsets from the balcony. Watching dolphins leap out of the water. Saving the horseshoe crabs on the beach, looking for seaglass and shells. Beautiful property, fabulous location. Just steps to the beach. Can walk to downtown Lewes and and nearby canal. Nice park there for young ones. A great place to relax and reflect. Favorite restaurant - CAKE Bar - we had a birthday party there - wonderful food and desserts. Great crab cakes. Looking forward to coming back next year.

8 of us went away for the weekend to enjoy tennis & relaxation sans kids. The house is perfect for socialization; yet big enough to find a corner for privacy if you need to "call home". There is nothing missing in this fabulous home. It is clean and convenient. Though we didn't use the elevator for people - it was immensely helpful in getting our provisions to the 2nd & 3rd floors. Love the Dairy Queen 1/2 block away. We hope to be back next year. BIG FISH GRILL - great dinner - make reservations!

My family and I rented this house last week. We were very surprised at the size and cleanliness of the house. The location was terrific. We would definitely rent this house again. LOVED IT. We were able to sit on one of the many decks at night and watch the boats. Saw dolphins. The kids were so excited.

The house was wonderful, we had a great time. The weather was terrific and the view was great. One recommendation would be a regular toaster - the toaster oven was not as useful as a regular toaster. Otherwise, everything was great!

We absolutely loved the home. So many decks and space. We could all spread out and also be close. A great mix. Every sunset was exquisite from the deck and the beach. We loved the chance to at bonding with the family in such a lovely environment. The Bay was a treat with small waves for the little one. - The "Best" Family vacation. - Definitely facilitated by your impeccable environment. - Another M due to arrive for New Years. - Hope to create a family event annually. - Thank you for your impeccable decorating savvy and chic style.

We have been vacationing together for 15 years. This may be the last time we are able to do it - boo hoo! What a joy to watch our 7 teenagers interact and to still have lots to talk about after all these years. God has truly blessed us with beautiful families and a beautiful vacation spot!
